No Team Profile, No Physcial Address where the offices are, No Linkedin Profiles. ExitScam Waiting to happen
A lot of legitimate online stock brokerages don't have profiles of their employees or any Linkedin stuff, so that doesn't strike me as odd in this case. The lack of a physical address does, however, just like in the case of Yobit (which also is shady beyond belief).
I've never heard of VaultMeX. Any idea what country they're operating out of? I'll keep an eye on this thread and tag their BCT account if this doesn't get resolved, though I doubt it's going to help much if they're truly looking to pull an exit scam.
Dear The Pharmacist, thanks for kicking in with your opinion.
We at VaultMex.com are a team of full time crypto professionals, honest & dedicated to a greater enhancement of the cryptocurrencies ecosystem widely as it could be. As you correctly say no personal informations are disclosed from our team members or our operativity centers because, as you can read in our exchange description, we aim to bring a 100% secure & mostly anonymous $CRYPTO to $CRYPTO exchange in a way which actually the market lacks of.
When we talk about cryptocurrencies it comes natural to think about anonymity or pseudo-anon kind of payment alike digital networks. So we built a near to 100% anonymous exchange, since we do not store any logs info of IPs or other personal informations obtainable from web datas and we just hold in a /temp style for a very short time then we regularly delete them.
Our email use is reduced to minimum just to confirm account and enable trading so to avoid accounts spam or fake emails misuses. We neither ask for wd confirmation through email to minimize the chances of MITM attacks through SMTP/POP3 protocols or phishing websites.
The decision to avoid disclosing our operational countries keeps contributing to ensuring a safety to eventual threats to admins and operators or to avoid any kind of speculation based on our country provenience.
Also, we provide a full Incapsula protection service, tweaked for the best experience by our tech team. Adding that to our deep crypto experience, commitment, skills & a dedicated segregated network for our web infrastructure we can with no doubt call ourselves the most reliable, secure & anonymous cryptocurrency exchange in the field right now (and for a long time to come yet).
Now, let me clear some of the accusation you & the community may have read against us.
First the deposits issues happened during the first few days of operativity: we launched on the 6th of August 2018 (exactly 1 month ago) reaching enormous (we still have to understand why honestly) amount of traffic and users (mainly from Asia) overwhelming our estimated capacity for launch. Our fault, we apologise. But, after admitting the error we started working hard to solve everything. Our support & tech team solved more than 40 tickets opened the aforementioned problems and now we do not have any new ticket opened for any kind of issues since 2 weeks.
At the time of writing we just passed 2750 registered users. You can understand what this could result for a just launched exchange.
Now, let's talk about the XcelR FUD, spam and harassment. I already posted about this in VaultMex community feedback thread, so I will copy paste that (hope this don't hurts you).
XcelR dev blackmailing us:
https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/476062281843867650/486862057703211028/unknown.png?width=1088&height=134Let me clear the story a bit:
1) We have been contacted by XcleR team members asking to get listed. We get in touch with main dev and talked about listing details. Our listing request asks to choose which method of payment a team prefer to use so they have choosen to pay with their own altcoin. Since we thought the project wasn't too bad we agreed with listing XCL for a 20k coins fee.
2) We listed XCL as scheduled with a smooth and fast service, even before they paid the fee! (Can prove this with screenshots and timestamps). We enabled then trading markets and everything was running fine as usual.
3) Unfortunately we experienced some issues with our email service providers because our user base is growing extremely fast and we exceeded multiple times the email rate limiting of the company we are using the email service from. This resulted in a downtime of some hours of our email system, thus new users weren't able to confirm their new accounts but withdrawals were working since we don't use email verifications for wd. I say this because XCL dev deposited an amount and then withdrew it with no issues at all and then started calling our exchange scam just because he wasn't able to get the confirmation email to get his account activated.
He then started spamming our discord channel over and over, calling names and being rude against support team and admins. We then pointed him to open a ticket if he would have any complaint to make, but he kept spamming the discord channel and behaving like a kid.
After all this we still haven't banned his account (yet).
4) Then the night of 5 September we experienced DNS issues (cause by Namecheap's glitch issue, confirmed by their own customer care support), just after some hours from the FUD from XcelR. So he started again FUDding in our social channels and calling names against us. After he posted "Exit Scam" in the General channel of VaultMex discord we decide to finally ban him.
5) After banning him and explaining the reasons of the ban (which he still hasn't understood after the ban...) he started to blackmail us and opened an useless diffamating scam accusation thread against us. We already warned him that our legal team will go ahead to contact him and check if any further legal action would be required after the blackmail we received.
This is the whole story and stop.
We are trying to build an innovative cryptocurrency platform with security & anon logging in mind and we do not tolerate such nasty and unhealthy behaviour on our social channels.
I hope you won't get fooled by these kind of diffamation and you will come to try yourself the genuinity of our exchange platform!
Our best and most sincere regards to all the cryptocurrencies community, looking forward for a crypto-only world.
