Thanks Bogart, that seemed to be the issue.  I have now resolved it and I went through the configuration of two devices (the one with strange behaviour and another which was chugging along just fine) and that was the issue. A quick change and a hard reboot solved it.  Thanks!

Do you have the interfaces bridged?

Is the avalon wifi set to AP mode, or is it in client mode and set to connect to some other wifi AP?

Personally I only use ethernet for all my miners, avalons and otherwise.

Perfectly normal.you can connect over wifi with ethernet cable being used.one or the other only. Belive I did it on 16 of them.

Hi there,

I've been experiencing some strange behaviour on one of my Avalon Batch 2 Minis when attempting to log into the OpenWRT interface via WiFi.  I am capable of logging in to the device via ethernet (using the ethernet IP address, naturally).  However, when I attempt to connect via WiFi, I get a black screen with the text "LuCI - Lua Configuration Interface" and nothing else (Firefox reports spinning and "Connecting"), and then it times out.

To make matters slightly more confusing, if I plug in the device via ethernet, and attempt to access it via the WiFi IP address, I connect just fine, and additionally, when I attempt to log in with just the WiFi and no ethernet connection, if I plug the ethernet cable in while Firefox spins and says, "Connecting", it'll immediately connect.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

MAB
