Did you get a reply, is the issue resolved?

I'm happy to announce that the issue is resolved. My faith in Bitstamp is restored and I'm confident to do bigger transfers (not via Ripple yet).

Suggestions for Bitstamp:
-- Mention on their site any issues with ripple and that transfers may take time/require manual intervention. Possibly some details would be great on the actual problem.
-- They should also mention their working hours so people don't panic when they see a problem.

I'm interested in a resolution, but I'm more interested in knowing why this happened in the first place, and (for how long) will this continue happening?

I did send a support ticket. I got a robot reply. I really hope Bitstamp sorts it out. I would really like to use them for SEPA transfers.

With respect, but wouldn't it be fair of you then to wait until morning and get a response to your ticket first before saying you lost 1BTC?

hazek, you are right. I might have over-reacted. I didn't realize they are sleeping, secondly its only 1 BTC, and lastly, Ripple is very beta.

Bitstamp operates in the GMT +1 time zone. It's 2am for them right now. I'm sure your issue will be fixed in the morning when they read your support ticket if you sent one.

I transferred 1 BTC IOU from Ripple to bitstamp.net.

This is what it shows in my Ripple account and I am 1 BTC less Sad

Transaction # 0FD27608875A8DA65E5F4FDD3F10F8BC23F60D8EC14C4AC022CFDB40FB2D7127

Address sent to:     rvYAfWj5gh67oV6fW32ZzP3Aw4Eubs59B
Amount received:     1 BTC
Currency received:     BTC - Bitcoin

The 1 BTC however, does not appear in my Bitstamp.net account. Can anyone point me to the people who can get this fixed.

EDIT: problem was eventually resolved after contacting support.
