And I want to ask one more thing why trust is not visible by default in every subforum

I like to see it in all boards but I think it is only shown in marketplace because trust rating mostly helps to know whether other users think he/she is trustworthy or not. We will always have to make our own mind, anyways.

(also why trust algorithm is so weird)?

My wild guess is to make others hard to guess but theymos already posted algorithm, IIRC.

Thank you for you replies: BadBear and hilariousandco. Now I can see that there is some reasoning behind that. Because at first that matter of 'non banning scammers policy"  was not really clear to me.
I know that forum is not Police or any kind of authority capable of chasing criminals and scammers. And I want to ask one more thing why trust is not visible by default in every subforum (also why trust algorithm is so weird)?

Scammers are not banned. You need to learn to take the appropriate precautions to prevent yourself from getting scammed.

Even if you present sufficient evidence that you were scammed the administration is not going to decide what is a scam and what is not a scam
This rule is just utterly weird for me to understand, if you prove that someone cheated, robbed and scammed you forum staff should ban him immediately. Seeing how you can be banned for posting off topic replies more likely than when you stole coins from people is just, well... hard to accept.

Guess BadBear beat me to it, but if you think about it for a while the way this forum currently operates is the best option, though I understand it may seem illogical at first (though it isn't). The staff don't have the time to sort out the various scams that go on here everyday and getting themselves involved will just lead to more headaches and complaints.

This is, first and foremost, a discussion forum. Banning someone for breaking a law/contract/agreement is unnecessary, especially when we have the feedback system. People are capable of making up their own minds on who to trade with as long as they have all the information. Breaking a law doesn't mean you don't have anything to contribute.

All that aside, nobody wants to take the amount of time it would take to personally verify every instance of scamming beyond a reasonable doubt. Do you have hours to kill every day, for nothing in return besides a "Thanks!" or "Fuck you!". Or just let people decide for themselves?

I wouldn't be surprised if you are not paid. girlbtc, created a thread a few days back, about why investment casinos run away with the money. He felt that despite a lot of effort they put in, they don't get paid very well. And He felt they(him probably included) deserved the money, and so they resort to scamming.

You should open a scam accusation to explain what happened and present proof as much. I don't think anyone will even find what you claim if they are trying to determine if they are legit or not if you only post here.

You wil obviously also need to present proof of being scammed and they will have an opportunity to refute your claims. Ideally, once they are called out for their indiscretions, they will make you whole once they receive enough pressure from the community

There already is a thread[1], the proof is convincing (at least for me) and the accused had several days time to fix the issue. Judging from other comments in their thread[2] its somewhat normal that issues need a week to get resolved. "girlbtc.com" also tried to blackmail the OP into promoting the site. Automatic payouts have been disabled because "cheaters". girlbtc.com is also unable to understand how Tor and proxies work and that "has the same IP" does not equal "is the same person". Anyway, back to topic: this all does not belong here. A scam or unresolved is not a reason to ban someone, in fact a ban would prevent girlbtc.com from discussing the issue and possibly create more issues. Its probably best to lock this thread (lower left IIRC) and continue this in the scam accusation thread.

Well i am here for four years now, and not even once was i scammed, this was the first time, it happens to everyone to let their guard down
due to certain situations.

Even if he doesn't get banned, i think i raised enough awareness to prevent him from doing it to anyone else.

Not to write same thing over again, i made a scam report here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/resolved-girlbtccom-admin-returned-funds-after-7-days-1025088

In short: he is holding my money hostage for a week now (0.68 BTC), and admiting he wont pay me via PM.
Users like this one should not be allowed to be here on our forum.

He is still trying to make a referral promotion for his site for more victims to fall.

Thank you
