Hello @sportsbet.io,

It has been over 5 days since my account got locked and I can't withdraw any money from sportsbet.io and also no replies from [email protected].

My original deposit was 219 mBTC, and later I won the rest upon playing a slot "Chaos Crew". Went to withdraw my profits which was declined. Contacted sportsbet through email and found out that they have linked me to some account which I have no idea about and stopped my withdrawal in relation to multi-accounting.

I was then asked for KYC, which didn't make sense to me since it was a bitcoin betting platform and the whole point of betting with BTC was being killed i.e. staying anonymous. Having no option, I went ahead and completed the KYC.

"Thank you for completing our online identity verification.

Please note that your account was disabled due to being flagged for multi-accounting by our security systems. As this is strictly forbidden by our terms and conditions (namely terms 3.5 and 3.6) we would like to extend you the ability to explain."

The withdrawal which it says is confirmed, thats not true. Never received that withdrawal.

I am looking for some lead where can I go from here. Since none of my emails are being replied to.

Thank you
Sorry about your experience with the sportsbet casino. Based on what the previous comment or reply says I think you were caught up in the process of enforcement of their new policy on their casino so they could be on the safe side as they felt gamblers are misusing the platform based on their standing policy then hence they had to review their policy for kyc and withdrawal and that likely affected your withdrawal. It is nice they have a representative here and are fully on ground to settle and resolve disputes with their clients.  You should try contact their representative and explain yourself to him and see how it goes. I believe that would solve your problem as long as you had no ill intentions before you were caught up in the web.

@madman123 I saw Steve from Sportsbet recently posted something about new wave of members abusing their website so they had to make some modification with account verification and withdrawals, maybe you got caught is the middle.
My suggestion is to contact Steve in forum and explain your situation, and if you are honest user everything will be fixed soon.
Update us with your situation change when you receive more news about your case.

Yes, I'm an asshole
Fair enough. That makes sense. That could be the reason.

Will be patient and wait to hear from them.
Will update here when I do.

You've... been hearing from "them", jeremypwr has been trying to reach you through PM. He'll know what to do. Check that "my messages" button on the top side of your page.

And if I may add about KYC, most casinos asked for this, not only sportsbet, and that's not because they're being nosy about their customer. It's one of the method to double-check account abuse and, more importantly, it's part of the requirement by government bodies that they have to comply to fight against AML-ATF, crypto casinos are threading a very fine line between complying with authorities and protecting their customer's privacy.

Once our investigation is completed, we shall get back to you. You can expect a response from us within 05 business days.
The problem is I am not getting any replies. Last reply was 5 days ago. I have sent them 7 emails since then.
5 days and 5 business days are two different things. Don't count the weekend that just passed in that timeframe. Bombarding them with 7 emails isn't going to speed up the process. As I said previously, give them some time and they will respond once their investigation is concluded. Luckily, you now have jeremypwr who will take a look as well. Legit players have nothing to worry about when it comes to Sportsbet. Cheaters and fraudsters should be worried.

You should check your DM since @jeremypwr has already said, you should check your PM regarding message send to you. If your mails is not being responded to, luckily you have an active representative here who is always ready to resolve your issue and at the same time connect you to the appropriate body in charge.
Thank you for possibly the most intelligent reply I've ever seen to these "scam accusation" threads.
As long as he's not doing anything wrong (which I'm not implying that he is), his situation will be resolved.
I believe the OP is just too angry over his pending withdrawal which is blinding him from other essential and common things which he could have done...  The msg regarding your sent DM to him was there before about 2 of his replies was drop, but he couldn't just see it, or maybe he didn't look up to see a new message notifications.

What's suspicious about that? I could have lost money in that time span too.
I was buying bonus buys on a slot, and hit a 2000x

According to your screenshot, you made a deposit around 2:26 am, and just 18 minutes later, you decided to request a withdrawal. which means you won a game within that short period of time, which initially looks suspicious to me, as if you already have those games booked out.

Another thing is, since they accuse you of multiple accounting, have you tried checking within your surroundings if anyone is sharing the same IP, which might likely be a reason for account flagging?
Since you have passed their KYC as required, you could have tried again by trying to make a further explanation to them as required, letting them know you own only one account. If you really don't have anything to hide, I will advise you to be patient and follow up on the support gently.

No, I haven't been to rude to anyone. Why would I be rude to a support agent, who has very little to none authority over the case?
Being rude or disrespectful wouldn't take the matter anywhere, let alone this case. In general in life.

As I have seen there has been many such cases so sportsbet definitely has certain measures they have put in place. I am not the first one to go through this. I am sure they will see by themselves that there's no multi-accounting happening in my case unless they are trying to frame me.

Yes, I was given a chance to explain after my withdrawals were declined. They asked me if I was related to "xxxx" account and I didn't know anything about it.

Another thing, I don't see live chat option anymore from my account. Not sure why is that.
I am not sure. Maybe Sportsbet has an option to disable it, especially if you were unfriendly or you cursed at their support agents.

It's impossible to know whether or not you have multiple accounts. It's not like you would admit to it if you did. They say you do, you say you don't.
I would suggest that you send a PM to their Bitcointalk forum admin if you don't get a reply from Sportsbet. Give them a few days.

You said they gave you a chance to explain. Did you? Maybe you can post screenshots of all emails you exchanged, but make sure you remove identifiable information.

Like I said, I have completed the KYC now.
I wasn't aware but later realised they were completely right on their end.

I am not using a VPN and neither does anyone from my home does sportsbetting.

I am waiting for an email reply because that's where the conversation had been going since my account got locked. Even live chat directed me to the email and also upon submitting a withdrawal request "An error occurred. Please contact us at [email protected]" This is the message I see.

Another thing, I don't see live chat option anymore from my account. Not sure why is that.

I was then asked for KYC, which didn't make sense to me since it was a bitcoin betting platform and the whole point of betting with BTC was being killed i.e. staying anonymous. Having no option, I went ahead and completed the KYC.
Did you read their Terms and conditions before signing up? According to their TOS, They can ask you for a KYC if they suspect anything wrong. So, it's your fault for not reading the TOS before you deposit. Did you use VPN When you signed up on their platform? Sometimes Free VPNs"s can match your IP with someone else. Or, Does anyone from your house use Sportsbet and use the same IP address?

Why are you waiting for an email reply while they have Live support and you can reach them 24/7 with support agents? Sportsbet is highly reputed and unlikely to ban anyone without a proper reason. I would suggest you contact them via live support.
