Atheism is such a self-contradictory religion that nobody should respect it.   Smiley
Everyone decide for his/her self. Dont tell me what is good or bad......

But, please, try to make a little attempt at correct decision.

Be honest you rather light a fire under these heathens then let them choose for themselves.

Sometimes these off shoots hate each other far more than all us non-believers. You ever see those Buddhist monks go to war with each other? Damn they can get down with some nifty machete work.

Well I didnt get it, maybe its because I'm an atheist?

It's a joke about how silly people and their beliefs are. Like Suni killing Shia's and Cathiolics killing protestants etc.
+1, there are many more examples. Not naming hem, u know them

Waves at LaudaM.    Smiley

Hello!  Long time old friend!
Waves back with a bit of disappointment due to the forgotten email.  Smiley
You definitely had some great threads and input in the past. Let's hope that you resume your habits, even though you're not spending nearly as much time as you did before. There have been a few threads about religion and they really change directions often from being really serious to 'funny' nonsense by BADecker and people of similar kind.

It's a joke about how silly people and their beliefs are. Like Suni killing Shia's and Cathiolics killing protestants etc.
A lot of things in the modern world are very silly. If we were to make a scale and rate it religion wouldn't even be on top (only a few would). Things have really gone out of control.

I was walking across a bridge one day, and I saw a man standing on the edge, about to jump off. So I ran over and said "Stop! don't do it!"
"Why shouldn't I?" he said.

I said, "Well, there's so much to live for!"
He said, "Like what?"

I said, "Well...are you religious or atheist?"
He said, "Religious."

I said, "Me too! Are you christian or Buddhist?"
He said, "Christian."

I said, "Me too! Are you catholic or protestant?"
He said, "Protestant."

I said, "Me too! Are you episcopalian or baptist?"
He said, "Baptist!"

I said,"Wow! Me too! Are you baptist church of god or baptist church of the lord?"
He said, "Baptist church of god!" I said, "Me too! Are you original baptist church of god, or are you reformed baptist church of god?"

He said,"Reformed Baptist church of god!"
I said, "Me too! Are you reformed baptist church of god, reformation of 1879, or reformed baptist church of god, reformation of 1915?"

He said, "Reformed baptist church of god, reformation of 1915!"

I said, "Die, heretic scum", and pushed him off.
Haha, genious! Good storyline Smiley

It's a joke about how segregated religion has become.  Each year new religions are formed, and existing religions become less populous.

It's just a humorous way of showing how religion is on it's way out.  Smiley
You are right when it comes to weird religions. I've only heard of a few of them, such as Pana Wave and Jediism, which is more than enough.

Quote
Wise men are instructed by reason;
Men of less understanding, by experience;
The most ignorant, by necessity;
The beasts by nature.
You can guess where religion fits.  Roll Eyes
Honestly, discussions between agnostics, atheists seem much better than those led by religious people. I'm surrounded by a ton of people that are very religious, and they're often closed minded as well. I can not discuss a important issue with them, else they call out the Bible on me. I'd say that one of the main factors that makes religions prosper is the fear of nothingness after death (very common in people, even though some don't want to admit).
