Take a look at the i0coin threads. I0C was dead once but it's been fixed and resurrected.

Yes it is possible. But who will support you. If the coin is already death no one cared about the coin and no active developer support them. So you wont get any bug fixes and new features.

And a working community is the important thing if you want to run a successful cryptocoin.

but how to get the copy of the up to date blockchain ?

Post into that coins thread and announce your
intention to revive the coin. Ask users to start
their wallets and post their ip's.

Yes, I imagine it is possible. You would need a copy of the blockchain files which hold the data up to the date of the last block created. If you had the blockchain you could set up a node yourself.

I would like to know how is it possible to reborn an old coin. I mean a coin which wallet is not syncing anymore.
