that all depends of your budget.
If you have enough cash to buy new equipment - buy new, but if you don't have so much cash for it - buy older one.

Hello together,

my last mining action are a few months ago. But with out mining is no good feeling :-)
I will order a Asrock H110 with 13 PCIE Connector for 13 GPUs.
The big question is, what for GPUs are at the moment good for mining.

The new AMD Vega 56 / 64 Cards with a lower power and more hash rate, but expensive cost for order?
Or the old RX 470 / 580 cards?

Any ideas?

Best Regards from Germany

I want to start mining, so I checked with my frineds who are on mining already, on to buy new updated ASIC or buy old GPU with other componants with less price to mine. What they suggest is to go with ASIC with its new componants which really consumes less power and bring profit. This would better answer you.

I would prefer all the same old versions as the price is lower and faster they will repay themselves, and then it will be possible to sell video cards on the market of used devices for the computer. Although the new AMD Vega 56/64 cards are more powerful and therefore more hash rate, but pay off will still be longer. There must be understood for how long.
