So, to make sure all parties on the list on the original post have a chance to claim a small compensation, i've decided to leave this offer open until May 31st of 2015. However, I will be setting the compensation value at $53USD worth of bitcoin at the time I make the payment, as that's about the value of what the first 5 claimants were each sent over the first 2 days of this offering.

I figure it took me a year to figure out how to tackle this, the least I can do is give people that long to respond and claim.

Still only 5 responses so far.

Quoting amount you say for future reference. Tip of my hat to you sir for trying to at least better yourself. Wasn't around when you got the tag but good job on trying to clean the mess up now.

Aahzman,

Thank you I have recieved the funds.

You are in a difficult situation, i applaud you for comming forward and standing your ground. This is indeed honorable.
Unfortunately the tag you have is still there but I really hope the commuity can see this for what it is.
This arena is full of scammers and con artists, a pathetic bunch, who if they continue on this path will destro cryptos, but humanity is full of these people everytwhere and I assure you that you are not the first or the last person to fall victim to such crimes.

Again thank you for taking action.

Best of luck and Regards

Saudibull was quite a scammer himself. I doubt he's going to come back to claim any btc, but he doesn't deserve 1 satoshi. Maybe give it to one of his victims if any are still around.

There's more threads calling him out too I think.

Ok Aahzman, since your account was hacked, you don't need to blame yourself.

I have received 0.12 BTC.

First,thanks.

That day I lost about 4 BTC. I truly hated that man.I left this forum for half a year.

I sold the rest of my btc.

For your 0.12 btc,as KrLos said, a little bit of faith in humanity has been restored.

I like you, friend.Lay it down,we can be friend.

So,have a nice day.Good luck for you.

And if you have any issue, you can PM to me.

Thank you Aahzman.

Hi BitzMD.  "BitzMD" is the account in my messages mailbox, but it looks like I typo'd it when I was listing it in this thread. My apologies.  Just on my way out the door to work, will get your 0.12BTC sent out as soon as I get there.

While I'm not going to apologize for getting hacked (I had an 18 character, strong password), I will apologize for it taking so long for me to put this proposal in motion. I got kicked in the nuts on a mining bond investment that just gutted my BTC holdings, and I've been slowly rebuilding while at the same time trying to save and pay for my wedding (which was 2 weeks ago).

So, sorry that it's taken so long to make partial amends.

As for possible future hacks, well, I'm being a lot more paranoid about network security, running firewalls and regular malware scans with multiple products, using 2FA everywhere I can, and using ridiculous passwords that are a biatch to remember.  I thought about just making a new forum account, but I'd rather try to rebuild my rep than hide behind a new alias.

Heh, sure, I'll bite: 1BxUs1hjWzYLEYdECbrRTJJtcTmwBzNtFN

I always figured Ripple was a centralized scam anyway so I didn't think it was that big of a deal to lose some. My bad for not doing things the "right" way but at least I did my part to ensure no one else got scammed after that.

Sorry your account got hacked. If that happened to me, I'd just create a new account and start over.

Either way, your account is tainted because it was hacked in the past and for all we know could be hacked again in the future.

Yeah, I noticed that, too, that 6 of them haven't logged in since last year. Most have logged in fairly recently (since march).

Good idea, though. Will send them all the link to this thread.

Thanks.

I have spent almsot a year trying to make heads or tails of the message trail and various shitcoin trades the person who hacked my account last year did, trying to come up with a dollar value per supposed victim.  It's impossible, so I am proposing the following:

I will divide 2BTC among the 18 people that were supposedly scammed. That's 0.11111111BTC per. Hell, I'll even round up to 0.12BTC per, because i'm too lazy to type all those 1's in 18 separate transactions. At today's exchange, that's around $52.75USD per supposed victim.

Now, I will once again protest the absolutely arbitrary and proof-less scam system at bitcointalk.org.  Despite there being any actual proof that I (me, personally, not the fuckscum who hacked my account) scammed anybody, I got slapped with a tag. Complete and utter bullshit.  We need a better system, where a person's rep can't be trashed due to anecdotal whiners with no proof.

Note, I do not give a flying fox fuck about what the particular shitcoin you traded a year ago is worth right now. This is the proposal. Take it or leave it. You want the 0.12BTC? Post your address. Just your address. I don't want a discussion, I don't want a negotiation, I don't want drama.   If you aren't willing to take 0.12BTC as the only, and final, compensation for your pain and suffering, don't waste my time, or yours, posting.  If you do not have a dog in this fight, an iron in this fire, a stake in this game, whatever metaphor you want to use, your opinion on this entire thing DOES. NOT. MATTER.    If you do accept the proposal (and the payout), do yourself a favor, take the 0.12BTC and DON'T TRADE IT FOR SHITCOINS!!!!  Bitcoin. Litecoin. All other coins can suck a bag of monkey dick.

I will also offer to personally meet anybody who feels scammed, provided they want to come visit me in Toronto.  You can look me in the eye while I tell you it wasn't me, and if you don't believe me, then too fucking bad.  You can take your shot, or take a walk. I'm done feeling bad about getting hacked and a bunch of non-escrow-using, shitcoin-promoting fools getting scammed.  If you're too stupid, too greedy or too trusting to use escrow, you need to forget about crypto, because you will (and supposedly did) get taken.  I no longer have the time or energy to feel sorry for you.

Here are the 18 accounts that the hacker communicated with.  I suggest you all respond publicly, in this thread, using one of the accounts listed below, with a BTC address. I will send the 0.12BTC and I will post the blockchain TXID showing it was sent.  This proposal is only good until Midnight, Eastern Daylight Time, May 31st, 2014. Supposed victims posting after this time and date will be disappointed.

By posting your bitcoin wallet address under one of the forum names below, you agree that you are accepting the terms of this proposal.
