Yes. If you can post a signed message from that address once verified I'll pass on the details to the admins (though there's no guarantee they will accept it or do anything about it but it's better than doing nothing).

Well it's banned right now.

Wow, I haven't got a clue about this. Then my only guess is that it probably was hacked and banned for something because I definitely haven't done anything that might have violated the rules to slightest extent, and I am dead sure here.
Well, at least it becomes clear why I cannot restore the password. Is there any way to appeal? Or it's the lost cause now and even a signed message won't help me because I just have no idea why/how it got banned.

Edit: And yes, all last forum posts on that account are mine, but they should be in line with the rules of the forum.

I have no idea what it was banned for but you should be able to still try restore access to it, you just wouldn't be able to do anything with the account.

Are you sure you got the email address right? It ends in @tutamail.com.

That is definitely NOT my email address. I registered it with my @gmail account.
So the account was definitely hacked, and probably banned for some kind of spamming/scamming afterwards. I used the same password for several sites and there was a huge leak of email/passwords combinations last year (not from bitcointalk) - so that is probably how it got hacked (my fault obviously).

What is my next step? Should I make a signed message now with that ripple private key?

You'll have to learn to sign a message from it if you want it back, but even then accounts don't seem to be getting restored. Also, what was that account banned for? It's not locked as potentially compromised or hacked.

It was never banned to the best of my knowledge. I was not using it for a while and just forgot the password. But for some reason I cannot restore the password - no email is sent to my gmail account (not even in spam).
It is not hacked either - no one uses it afaik.
I just have some important PMs there that I would like to access.
I thought it would easier  for a moderator to check the private key rather than ripple signature (which I guess might be a bit different from that of a bitcoin, I am not sure here).
But if a signature is required, I can spend some time and figure out how to do it.

Hi All,

I cannot restore password for my account. Unfortunately, I have only posted my Ripple address.

Forum post containing my ripple address:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.1882967

I am not sure how to sign the message with it, but I am ready to send the private key for this address (there are no funds there). A moderator can verify it using any Ripple wallet service, for example at https://gatehub.net/

I pm'ed theymos long time ago, but he didn't reply.

Any chance that anyone can help me?

Thanks in advance!
