Combined Votes should have been a category, I would have won Cheesy

FYI to all those who voted me Miss Bitcointalk let me say again I HAVE A COCK, it might be small but it's there!!!
I was slightly more subtle in the past, saying they're in for a surprise, but it didn't work. There have been discussoins about my gender, but hey, if people want to think I'm a woman, see my personal text for how much I care. I prefer to think I'm talking to women here too Tongue Why would I hang out at a sausage party?

I'm pretty sure Trump being president had something to do with that shift in thinking, but I don't want to stray too far off-topic nor get into politics.
Yes, I hate it when my genitals become a matter of political debate. That's the defining characteristic of being female, right? At least it seems that way these days...

I figured this would take me maybe 45 minutes, but 6 hours later and I was still battling with matplotlib to produce that final graph. Cheesy

Anyway, I think the effort was worth it, and I hope that these are interesting for some of you to look at.
For your time and effort, thanks @PowerGlove - and it's interesting, believe me.

About Miss Bitcointalk - some Nigerian users openly share their photos and gender in public. In my opinion, they are Miss Bitcointalk [should be one] because we can clearly differentiate the gender. But I don't know why one of them doesn't win this category, someone has to answer, maybe.

Although girls are now in the minority on Bitcointalk, 5 to 1, they are still wonderful, interesting and important to us. I understand that choosing three winners from among all our beautiful girls is problematic, but still we will try.

LOL-olly-gag.  Are you still in the hospital, and if so are they putting something funny in your IV drip by any chance?  That's a hilarious comment considering it's coming from you.  But hey, I'd be offended too if I got votes in that category.

That means nothing. Apparently, there are even chicks with cocks these days (or so I've heard.)  Cheesy
Oh lordy, lordy.  There have always been Cs with Ds, but ever since 2015 you'd think that's the norm rather than a rare exception.  I'm pretty sure Trump being president had something to do with that shift in thinking, but I don't want to stray too far off-topic nor get into politics.  That category is another weird one, especially since nobody really knows for sure what gender other members are.  But Foxpup is sexy, female or not.  Wish I could post pics of the Merit Cycling Club meetings, because boy....ah, I've said enough. A great initiative @PowerGlove.
As one of the people involved in voting, it's certainly nice to see as a reminder of a most memorable event organised by icopress.

Congratulations to you for being chosen as the winner in the Discovery of the Year 2022 category. For me, you deserve to win that category.
I look forward to hearing more good ideas from you and especially from all the selected people for the betterment of the forum.

Thanks @PowerGlove for the charts, they really bring clarity to the game, especially in categories where second place is light years behind.

Kudos for the effort, those charts look nice and it makes it so much easier to see the results of each of the category. The last one must have been a real pain in the ass to make  Cheesy

One tiny comment though, as a fellow chart enthusiast: I would like to see the data labels on each of those charts as it would be a little bit easier to read them.

Thanks @PowerGlove for taking the time to do this.

And I swear, I still don't know what all those categories are supposed to represent.  I'm not even sure if "antihero" is a concept that most members could figure out someone appropriate to stick in it.  Royse777 was certainly controversial this year, but I would not consider him an antihero.  I can't even think of someone I'd vote for in that one.  Maybe it should be changed to Blackest Sheep or something like that.
I think I just chose Royse as it looked like the popular answer. Every other category was my real opinion but this particular category was just a popular vote for me. Maybe that gets removed if they decide to do the awards next year. Seems like a confusing category anyways.

Thanks @PowerGlove for the graphical layout of the results. It's always a different way of analyzing the numbers, which graphically helps.

I have the same opinion. I didn't choose anyone for this category, because it's even a little imprecise of what your goal is.

Btw, I m surprised to see nc50lc in the last position for "bitcoin geek" title/category. He is actually very knowledgable  Cheesy
That may well be true, but from what I saw there were a lot of voters who probably don't frequent the sections nc50lc does, and his name probably didn't come to their mind immediately--and that's if they knew his name at all.  I honestly can't remember the last time I saw one of his posts.

Props on the graphs, PowerGlove.  I always like to see pretty pictures when I'm lookin' at data, know what I mean?

Perhaps my memory is failing me but there was not a category for fail of the year or something like it?
Yep, I decided to leave out 2 categories (Event of the Year and Fail of the Year). Those didn't have prizes attached to them (there were 30 prizes this year: one for each of the 3 places in each of the 10 "real" categories). Also, I didn't want the final graph to be a mixture of "people" and "things" (not that people aren't things, of course, but you get what I'm saying). Smiley

Anyways, thank you for this graphical summary.
No problem.

Perhaps my memory is failing me but there was not a category for fail of the year or something like it? I could swear there was, and I was personally expecting some known banned member from last year to manage to "win" that specific category.
Yeah, there was a category called "fail of the year" but it didnt include any banned members in it as such, actually thats not very important to know as well. We can just take examples of top failed experiments made in the crypto space for the particular year so that it doesnt get repeated again Tongue

Now that the votes have been counted, I thought it would be worthwhile to have a more graphical representation of the results.

I made a graph for each of the 10 categories, as well as a final one with combined votes.

I figured this would take me maybe 45 minutes, but 6 hours later and I was still battling with matplotlib to produce that final graph. Cheesy

Anyway, I think the effort was worth it, and I hope that these are interesting for some of you to look at.
