You're asking a question which should be directed to the altcoins discussion board, but it can still be handled here since its a newbie question asking for the necessary steps in pursuing after airdrops, i want to first inform you that not all the airdrops are rewarding, some could be a scam and you cant tell until the end, then they use to have their required rules and what they will request you to do as a task and after fulfilling all then you get rewarded provided they are not scam as I've said earlier, its more better for you to make more findings about any before starting and check well for their rules and requirements.

I stand with Ukraine!
I've been doing airdrops for a month now, I also rarely use twitter (except for the airdrops).
I'm still not sure what to do when they ask us to "retweet" a post. Should we just retweet the post as it is, and then send them the link ?
I am sure with you that most of bounty hunters, airdrop hunters will do not spend their time to write their organic content for their posts on X / Twitter. I used to be a manager, check bounties on social media like Facebook, Twitter and I learned that chance to find a little bit organic post is like 1% or even smaller.

If you feel like you can write a post, organically, so why don't do this?

If you want to ask for advice on how to make your posts, to be counted for bounty distribution, my advice as above, write it organically but again I am sure pro-bounty-hunters will recommend you don't do this organically.

In the past months I have seen Twitter getting more strict about crypto posting.

For example I am now participating in the Prom Network Validator Campaign on Zealy.
If you know Zealy you can probably imagine what kind of tasks it has.

Basically you have to do a lot of activities on various sources: Medium, Reddit, Binance Square, and yes, Twitter.
While the Prom Campaign is actually pretty fun and easy and won't take more than an hour of your time,
nevertheless these activities have to be done daily.

The Prom Validator Campaign has gone on for 3 months already and it is still ongoing.
The reward is huge - so it clearly attracts a lot of participants.
The winners of the Campaign are getting a DAO role which will allow them to partake in a share of network profits upon mainnet launch.

I actually smell good money there. So I'm very active.
Meaning I got to do around 10 twitter posts each day.
Now here is a problem with Twitter. I am not a bot. I only have a single account. I have been using it for over 5 years.
My posts are good quality and they vary in style and content.
I post Prom reviews, Prom memes, Prom videos and even poetry about Prom lol.

Still Twitter believes I am doing something wrong and has issued me a warning, lol.
So is it basically now Twitter against all crypto projects in the world?

I just usually retweet and give them the link like that except they specifically ask for a comment with the retweet, and I still get my tokens. So I don't think it is necessary to retweet with comment if they don't ask for it.

I only retweet and if you want to get the actual URL of that retweet, kindly go to allmytweet.net and you will get the retweet link

I always "just retweet" and receive the coins. I also don't think that a lot of airdrop managers really check the retweets, way too time-consuming.

I actually never did the quote retweet thing but still received it. I just retweet it and then change the username at the url to my username  Grin

Doing this will work only if they are not checking the link, but proper airdrop/bounty managers will check each and every link to verify you did it correctly. Once they check, your link will lead to an invalid link.
Don't do this, just do a quote tweet and you will be safe.

Yes, just retweet and it should be fine

What im doing is "Just retweet"  Smiley

Thanks for the tip.

I keep an active list of airdrops if you copy / paste the twitter url in my signature. On my profile there's an easy to read Google spreadsheet that I update daily.

I weed out the obvious wastes of time. AELF and Swarm are good examples of active airdrops that are already on exchanges.

Well, I had the same question about this matter whether Should I need to add something when retweeting or not. Because when we simply retweet something and get the related link ( even by going to our profile) it shows the original tweet link and not as our retweeted link. For many bounty ( or airdrops) they don't ask us to add something. We just need to simply retweet it. So I wonder how they find whether did we retweet it or not. Because the links shows as it is taken from the original tweet. Is there anyone who can tell me how they( bounty managers) identify whether the user retweeted it or not ?

As you have noticed, if you retweet without adding anything (called simply retweet), it will not generate a link which contains your twitter handler. But if you retweet with adding some text or hashtags it will be shown under your profile and the link will contain your twitter handler. This is called "quote tweet". For airdrops, please use "quote tweet" as you can provide a direct link to that tweet confirming it is done using your twitter profile.

Ok that's what I've thought but I've seen countless and countless of retweets from other other people, especially on this forum on the airdrop section with bounties, copy/pasting the url of the "simple" RT, which was the url of the tweet basically, claiming it was their RT for the bounty. Are they all wrong ? (that's often the majority of the participant who does that from what I've seen).

They never specify how the bot works exactly so there is a legitimate doubt it. Maybe it checks on our username page the url of the "simple" RT or maybe it only validates commented RT of a specified airdrop tweet. It is not clearly stated from them.

Hi,

(Don't go away, this is less of a noob question that it seems!... I think)
I've been doing airdrops for a month now, I also rarely use twitter (except for the airdrops).
I'm still not sure what to do when they ask us to "retweet" a post. Should we just retweet the post as it is, and then send them the link ? But in this case, I don't know if you noticed but the URL is the exact same one as the said tweet. So how do they know we posted it on our twitter page ? Now if we add and write something along with the retweet, we personalized the url and we are redirected this time to our twitter page... but then, would the bot be able to recognize the retweet ?

Sometimes i've seen airdrops expressly asking us to write something along with the retweet, otherwise it wouldn't count. So it would validate my concern that copy/past only the link of a "nude" retweet wouldn't count for any other airdrop and we would have to always add something to the retweet in order not to just give them the url of their own tweet. At the same time, since they have our username, the bot can check if there is a retweet of their tweet even if we didn't add something on it...

So at this point I'm clueless, i'm afraid that if I add something to the retweet it would invalidate everything, but maybe if I don't, it won't work either. Which one to do?

Thank you.
