You'd be better off by depositing by earning interest from FreeBitco.in and not bothering with the faucet stuff. Faucet payouts are so low right now.

If I activate either the 500% or 1000% Free BTC Bonus the amount is still acceptable I think.

I registered with your referral codes! so that should help too.

Thanks for turning me on to those!

any others? I tried to google myself some but they were horrible.

Mine? Thanks! As to others, I tried FaucetGame at FaucetHub but I'm not too fond of their interface. There are many others of course but I try to focus my effort on these and not to get too overwhelmed and end up doing none.

Faucet can give you money of course but with the time wasted on doing faucet you can do bounties which will give you more income.

Even some airdrop can make 6 months income.

When I said a 'steady income' I didn't mean it to replace your main income. Not at where I am now at the moment anyway. But as long as you make claims your earnings build up.

I see faucets as a start to a more automated passive income since I combine them with interest earning at FreeBitco.in. Right now I'm already earning 108 sats in interest per day, that is only with about 0.01BTC. If you have more bitcoins in your account you can easily make as much, if not more, than the claims you make in one day.

It's a slow process for me but it doesn't have for you. Some people make even more because they have a lot of referrals and as far as I'm concerned all of these faucets offer some form of referral bonuses and commissions. By the way if you're lucky, extremely I must say, you can even win the Jackpot or Lottery at FreeBitco.in in addition to the possibility of winning $200 worth of bitcoins every hour. Just saying  Grin

I guess saying worth it or not depends on the country you live in. If you are from a developed country 200USD in five month it’s almost nothing (just 40 bucks per month) but if you live in a third world country it means something because it’s a bonus income for just some clicks along the whole day, it just takes minutes.

You shouldn't do faucets and not do anything else. It should be in addition to whatever you're doing. That's why I said that it's better if you're already on your computer anyway, be it working or learning or reading.

I usually make a claim every hour on all of my faucets. I find that easier to manage. Depending on the faucet itself [pop-ups or repeated captchas] it usually takes under 30 seconds to make a claim. FreeBitco.in takes less since it doesn't have pop-ups and because of a few deposits I made I don't get captchas anymore, but please don't ask me how much or how many deposits because it seems different to everyone and it's a mystery that we at the FreeBitco.in forum thread are still trying to figure out.

I'm a few months behind the original poster, and seem to be using the same faucets, based on his links. I think I'm going to keep going until I hit the minimum free payout, then give up.

With FreeDogecoin, how easy is it to covert the dogecoin into bitcoin. Is it as easy as with Coinpot? With no minimum limit etc?

Well $200 in 5 months for few clicks per day, may be great reward. If you spent 5-10mins just clicking and that's it for that day.
More than 10mins per day might be waste of time or little to none rentability. I remember few faucets where you could make 500 do 1000 satoshi in 10mins if you have quick internet connection and quick solving of captcha's. Right now I see those faucets are either closed or overwhelmed with popup addons where it became unbearable to participate.

$200 in five months, add in all your time and effort on clicking those radio boxes and entering captchas, do you think $200 in 5 months is worth it? You could have spent the time into something even more productive like freelance work of whatever you're good at. Heck, not everybody in the signature designing were great designers before but look at them earning a couple thousand of dollars for every signature design. The reward for the time you spent is infinitesimally small compared to learning a new skill and applying it when you know there is a demand for it. I'm not saying that faucets are bad but in today's terms it isn't just worth it anymore.

This is for those who are thinking of doing faucets and wonder if it’s worth it.

I have to start with pointing out that I’m making a *steady* bitcoin income and not a get-rich-quick sort of income.

First of all, I think doing faucet is not as time wasting as everyone is claiming to be. I started with nothing in July, and 5 months on, in December, I have close to 0.01BTC which is worth close to 200 US dollars depending on the rate right now.

And that’s only with 8 faucets [I was doing only a couple of faucets for the first month]. I have been very cautious with the faucets I join as I don’t want to have unwanted or malicious ads. And I haven’t been active at promoting for referrals, I have little to none referrals.

My strategy has been to focus on bitcoin [I convert all my alt coin faucet earnings to bitcoins], I use the browser mining feature whenever I can, and I keep most of my bitcoins at FreeBitco.in to earn interest - every bit counts.

Although the rise in my earnings is also due to the rise in the bitcoin value, that is part of the process which is the whole point really. You can make more by joining more faucets and making more claims. It helps if you are already spending lots of time on your computer. And since most of them offer referral bonus, if you have a huge social network or if you’re good at promoting affiliate programs you can earn even more residual income.

I find that patience is a virtue since I don’t use bots to make claims - to those who are new to faucets, you shouldn’t use bots, you could get banned. I have to be diligent in keeping track of the time since most faucets only allow one claim after certain intervals - for example my favourite FreeBitco.in only allow one claim every hour. Don’t forget to use your smartphone; I find that since it’s with me all the time, it’s the quickest way to make a claim especially when I’m outside or sleeping [I make a claim whenever I’m awake  Grin]. Other than the time, you also have to be patient with pop-up ads and the captchas, especially reCaptcha which can get quite ’sticky’ if you make a claim too often, which by the way is allowed by some faucets.

Of course your experience may be different from mine. But overall I think from 0 to 0.01BTC in five months is not that bad considering I’m only earning passively.
