I was recently asked to do a review of the website CoinChat.org, which to be honest was quite a fun place to review!
CoinChat.org - Earn mBTC chatting.
Arrival:Upon arrival you're welcomed by a cute chibi kitten in the top right corner, if that doesn't offer a warm welcome you to the chat, the hospitality of the users there might. Once you create your account you can begin chatting, though you can't earn mBTC just yet from chatting, rather you have to stay awhile and earn the privileged to earn rewards while chatting. This is to help prevent spammers, trollers, and other various abusers of the system. There's a list of rewards that I've asked about and seen be rewarded for chatting, ranging from 0.01 mBTC to 2 mBTC.
( I must admit my question was kindly acknowledged by the admin in a very prompt response. Overall a good sign to see the admin playing a presence within the chat, along with various other moderators. )
Chatting and Earning:The chat is relatively easy to use, after registering you being in the main chat, though there are other user made rooms you can visit and partake in the chat there. If you get out of line or discuss something that isn't meant for the main chat, you will be asked to move your conversation to the appropriate chat room. Which is nice, a well moderated chat is always a pleasant place to be, especially if you're earning free Bitcoins just for chatting to other users about whatever topics you see fit, if within the appropriate rooms. You can create your own rooms, invite people, and even get a referral bonus of 50 mBTC for every active user who stays a month! Not up to chatting with everyone in the main chat, you can easily PM other users or your friends and chat to earn that way.
Keep in mind there is a built in automated spam detection system!Upon becoming whitelisted, I was able to accumulate 0.25 mBTC within the first 20 minutes of chatting!Games and Fun:You can participate and win mBTC in user made bots, or participate in lotteries located in the #lottery room, which is ran by
devinthedev. Lastly you can always use the site bot which is #moobot, which is moderated also by
devinthedev, is by a users definition:
Dayne: "Moobot has heaps of features! You can search youtube and soundcloud, you can get the current value of BTC in fiat currencies and you can convert BTC amounts."
"There is also "cowtipping", type "play cowtipping [mode 1-6]" to set the percentage chance of winning, 1 is the highest chance, but the lowest payout, 6 is the lowest chance, but the highest payout. Then type /tip moobot [value] to bet it."Keep in mind though, tipping is set to 0.25 minimum, which is for both tipping other users and games. So be sure to chat awhile before you decide to try and martingale yourself to wins on #moobot. Which is unique feature to use while getting paid to chat, and you get to cure your minuscule gambling woes. Needless to say it also offers a quick thrill, and a little bit of side excitement while chatting on the website.
Cashing Out:The minimum cash out is 5 mBTC, which seemingly doesn't take long to achieve at all, if you are quite the chatter, and don't abuse the chat by spamming multiple sentences at once. You can deposit via coinlenders, or withdraw directly into your wallet once meeting the minimum withdraw. Taking a minor transaction fee of 0.001 which isn't much considering you just got paid for chatting.
Overall I enjoyed my stay, the users are friendly, the admin and moderators are stern, but friendly, and I definitely will be visiting again.
