The company is really a BIG SCAM
The company is really a big scam
I found out about this website through linzhi.io
for several days they had on their website the link of linzhi.cn.com

That is total bullshit. You made a mistake, blaming them for it.

there was (seems offline now) a 1:1 copy of the real site, but with the link to the scammers shop

showing línzhi.io in the browser, notice the fake character "i"

it was https://xn--lnzhi-zsa.io/ (<--- SCAM Site)

Prior to this version with the acute accented "í" there was linzhi.io with the normal "i"

112 workers online when I checked.  So 2.2 million divided by 112 is a little less that $20,000 each that they make minus electricity.  Good for them that they were able to catch this wave.  I guess they could sell it for less than what it would mine just to get their name out there if they are able to mass produce an 8 gb version of this miner for sale in the future.
So they locked up themselves for last 2 years to make what $5 million (what they mined so far and to be mined until DAG becomes too big for their miner)?

Even if they were able to come up with a new 8GB design, with the silicon foundries being all tied up, I don't think they can get new machines before POW dies out.

The main farm has mined 1315 eth

https://eth.crazypool.org/#/account/0xef1d6c35a3877ec20a72fe3a2df79cdbaee39148

this is over 2.2 million

They can make another 2.2 million before it turns bad.

Okay it is not going to be sold. It has a fatal flaw. The ram is 4.7 so when the dag grows to 4.7 this gear is dead. At the moment I think the dag is 4.15 so this gear will die in under 💯 days.

They will simply mine it til it dies.

I agree.  If they do try to dump them now, it's just going to give themselves a bad name for selling a miner that becomes useless after 100 days. Even if they do price it accordingly what happens if you get a bad one or one that gets damaged in shipping?  The RMA process would kill any chance of breaking even.  It's not worth it for the seller or the buyer at this point in my eyes.

What do you think the price of the miner will be?
15-20K USD or rather 30-40K USD?
Does anyone have any relevant information about this?

The company is really a BIG SCAM
The company is really a big scam
I found out about this website through linzhi.io
for several days they had on their website the link of linzhi.cn.com
saying that that site was their store, the strange thing is that above they had an email from sales @linzhi.io
A few days later they no longer had the link to linzhi.cn.com on their supposed official website, they removed it and now they say Store: Coming soon

In my opinion, it is the same official company linzhi.io or some employee who is behind these waves of scams, it is likely that they did not have money to start mass production and in this way they have opted for fast and free Financing without having to return it

I lost 23k and now they send emails to encourage us to buy more machines but the machines do not exist, they will never arrive
they never send tracking number
They do not respond to any email or social network, they are on Telegran and they only say now that they have nothing created and to be careful with scams
But the scammers are themselves, the funny thing is that they respond here saying that we give tracking number or order, but they do not deliver anything after payment, there are no order number or tracking number because it is a scam, there are no machines

If one day the product comes out, hopefully they will give us a discount to the funders or scammed by them

Just stop.  You never dealt or had any dealing with Linzhi.io the actual company that does make an asic for eth but they dont sell it.  They make money using it.  They have shown and sent units for review but have never offered it for sale.  You go suckered by slick fraud sites....and now you blame Linzhi.io.   You fell for spoofed headers on email.  And lost a lost of money for that we are all sorry for you...but you cannot blame Linzhi.io because they were at all who you were dealing with.  You let your greed for profit haze your vision and you got suckered.  Own it...quit blaming others...you want to blame somebody try yourself...and the frauds who are not Linzhi.

You end by asking for a discount from Linzhi...they owe you nothing because you havent interacted at all with them.  Maybe in the future you will be more careful.  There are lots of scammers because there are lots of people desperate to make a quick fortune.

So stop trying to drag down Linzhi...you have been advised in another thread that you didnt do your research...a simple reading of this thread would have made clear THEY ARE NOT FOR SALE.

Own your dumbassery....its all you.

Having said all that i hate scammers...and there are plenty here...many even seem legit by offering new coins but those coins are usually just copies of other coins work and usually have large premines and NO MARKETS.  There are several that keeping posting here.  Whats funny is if you call them out and show they have no value they call you the scammer.  Smiley. I pride myself on having infuriated several of them.  And will continue to point out scams.  Please read up on stuff before you make a move such as you did...Again read this entire thread and is clear Linzhi is not selling.. ...yet you took a scammer with a slick websites word that it was.....

Sorry for the loss...but learn from it or you will get it again.

Hi Phil,

thanks for the hint.
Yeah that site is scam. Unfortunately, a lot of people are being scammed...

Your link to crazypool.org is their R&D farm, that is known public since they have fired them up.
hashrate fluctuates a little. But is always rough in that area

'The right to privacy matters'

I found a new thread in group buys

it may be a scam thread see link

below https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.56530831

they refer to linzhi.cn

and first post here refers to linzhi.io as the good website

So I am guessing that the other thread has a bad link.

my entire farm is 52 cards doing a grand total of 2100mh

i pull about 5000 watts.

this machine does 2700mh at 3300 watts

it will earn about 270 usd a day for 100 days maybe a little longer.

It is fine to buy it today if you get it by next week and pay under 12k.

reality is they will sell it at 18k in about 50 days. actually i simply would mine it till it dies if i were them and not sell a single one.

My guess is that would be the most profit for them.  much better than selling it.

Found what I was looking for.

They will sell them after the potability tanks or charge such a high price the prospects of turning a profit are slim.  Similar to the INNOSILICON A11, 20k for a miner that won't release until mid summer protects for ROI would huge gamble, eth better be a 3k for them to ROI.

So many people talking garbage about this, yet if you look at his public mining profile he has provided, he has mined $17k alone in the past 28 days.

And people will still call this useless. Grin

Talk about frauds....

This company is showing the exact same picture that you posted of your unit selling them for a fraction of the manufacturers price.

https://cryptominersoutlet.xxx/product/linzhi-phoenix-eth-miner-2600-mh-s/

Please don't post working links to scammers!

And please red the OP! If anybody sells these units today it is a scam.
On all that different websites, on alibaba and on the fake telegramchannels where they "sell" sampleunits

There is nothing written about linzhi. Nobody have seen a working sample of the A11 yet. If that change we can compare it with the linzhi miner....
But I dont want to speculate about it here

when you make such calculations, keep in mind:

1. Diff bomb in around 165 Days.
2. EIP1559 will dimish Mining Rewards drasticly. (https://stopeip1559.org/)
3. Diff is not static and currently rising quite fast.
4. Limited DAG File Capability on this Device.

To me this looks like an High Risk Invest.

The miner is real. But yes there are many risks these days.
But as it is not for sale at the moment we don't have to speculate on ROI.
I am in contact with linzhi.
Unit will be priced fair when it go for sale. They also work on a unit with more memory...
we will see... But please don't send that fucking scammers your coins the meanwhile

latest official news from linzhi:

Wow, the Linzhi Phoenix miner is pure fire, 2700 MH/s?
I think the only problem is, it's going to be super-expensive.
Also, not many ETH miners are going to get their handles on it bcuz of low production.

The profit is insane:

Hope this miner is true not a HYPE!

when you make such calculations, keep in mind:

1. Diff bomb in around 165 Days.
2. EIP1559 will dimish Mining Rewards drasticly. (https://stopeip1559.org/)
3. Diff is not static and currently rising quite fast.
4. Limited DAG File Capability on this Device.

To me this looks like an High Risk Invest.

no idea why or by whom it was deleted. Sad

by the way, i tried to answer that question about ETC on you thread on bitcointalk. a few minutes later, my post was deleted and my account permanently banned.
i sent them a mail, but 24 hours later, no reaction. that place may not offer a particularly level playing field.

basically three things:
1) i described briefly that the algorithm change of ETC affects only the DAG, not dagger-hashimoto.
2) that our miners do implement ETChash, with a link to our miner page on crazypool as proof.
3) an explanation that most of the machines are in RD, which is why the performance data shown is bumpy.

it is a modified dagger-hashimoto.  It is not the same as ETH.  The changes in Thanos are more than just tge dag size.

Im unclear on why it would m8ne ETC.  None of the other asics on eth can do this.  Heck even the FPGAs on ETH require whole new bitstreams to do ETC now that the hard fork in ETc has occurred.

Can you shed more light on this? ETH and ETC no longer share an algo.

I don't have a S17, but its loud. Nothing for a flat, I would say

Did you ever test this on etc?  I am a bit confused as to why this machine would work on etc now as I thought I read that they changed the algorithm slightly to protect from asics and 51% attacks.  If they did and this could still mine ect even after the change then it might be viable past September.

Click miners.  162 on that pool.  About 154mhs ... not solo mining.  You can see his rewards for each block found.

His Asic is a single miner so that is why you only see 1 miner...for him.

It says 7.98GBs for DAGs... So, how much video memory does this miner actually have?

4.4GB so ETH mining should work until Sept, but than there are other coins like ETC

What people talked about was the DAGs on the SD card

Are you running it in your house?

Can it be underclocked to run on a standard outlet in my spare bedroom or garage?

If the memory is 4.4gb can it be upgraded and will the manufacture provide an upgrade kit or firmware to expand memory?

Ease of set up?

Psu included?  PSU requirements?

Loud?

- In my garage
- I have not looked into under/overclocking yet
- I dont think that there will be an upgrade
- setup is very easy
- no PSU included, I would recommend 2kw per board, they can be powered independently
- yes it's loud

Nice to have at this moment.

Does it use 240 volts?

Does it use 1800 watts.

Or does it use 3000 watts.

The developers write that Ethereum mining is relevant until September 7. They also say in the telegram channel that ASIC will support Ethereum Classic mining. The current profit is huge: 1000 dollars in 4 days Smiley
And the date of sale has not yet been announced, and why sell them Huh

mine.

I have zero issue with them.  It is a legit business move.

The issue is eth won't switch the algorithm.

At the op. please let us know your power use for the 2500hash

BTW. 2500 x 0.0838 = $209.50 a day in earnings

this means that if it burns 3000 watts it comes to 72-75 kwatts a day or 75 x .20 = 15 a day in power

so 209.50-15 = 194.50 daily profit.  so these will go for big money.

100 x 194.50 = 19,450 in 100 days.  At the op mine the shit out of that eth and have fun.

Meanwhile I have 9 mobos on order and some cards coming soon. I am fully paid off.  Until these parts come. I will then have about 2000 to pay off.

Exactly, I don't think there's anything wrong with their business model, and eth is doing what it thinks is best for themselves.

https://www.coindesk.com/linzhi-rollout-long-awaited-ethereum-miner-phoenix

The new product comes as the Ethereum network has begun a technical transition from a proof-of-work (PoW) consensus mechanism to proof-of-stake (PoS). That process began Dec. 1 with the launch of the Beacon Chain. That chain acts as a central conductor for the new blockchain network which uses coin deposits as a means of securing the network, called “staking,” over mining.

Still, miners have at least a two-year runway with PoW on Ethereum. The current network, Eth 1.x, won’t be moved over to the new PoS blockchain until phase 1.5 of Eth 2.0.

The current Linzhi Phoenix demoed by F2 Pool will need at least one upgrade to stay useful before that transition, however.

The Ethereum network’s directed acyclic graph (DAG) – a component of Ethereum’s PoW algorithm called Ethash – stands at just under 4 gb, while each Linzhi Phoenix only has a 4.4 GB memory. The incumbent A10, on the other hand, can house between 6 and 8 gigabytes, F2 Pool says.

The Phoenix will need a bump in memory size or aftermarket components if it is not to become obsolete before phase 1.5. Spraul told CoinDesk in an email that the Phoenix miners currently rolling out are limited to quantities of pre-orders. The firm is “working on a successor with an increase in DAG memory – no specs yet,” he said.

Of course, other Ethash-based cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum Classic will still be using proof-of-work, meaning a market will still exist for the Phoenix even after Eth 2.0 phase 1.5.

Update January 31, 2021: General sales of the Linzhi Phoenix Ethash miner have not started and will not start for several weeks at least. All sites and groups claiming to sell or accept preorders for upcoming retail units are fraudulent.
