Well, the characters were based on Doc & Marty of Back to the Future fame.. but other than the similarities in the characters' quirkiness, Rick & Morty is a totally different show. The plot is awesome, the way they pay homage to various previous sci-fi work is amazing, and the the writers' exploration of what-might-be's when we have a super-intelligent scientist (in the person of Rick) who have invented a way to traverse different dimensions in so short a time (through his portal gun) is downright astounding.
Note that there are a lot of swearing in the dialogue (if you're able to watch the uncensored version); in comparison, while the original BTTF was supposedly a family-friendly movie trilogy.

While yes it takes a while between seasons, but nothing beats Game of Thrones 2 year break for the final season! =(

I like its very enjoyable its my favorite Adult Cartoon, it awesome and very interesting. I can watch it serval times and never get bored.

Yes I love this show a lot. Most people I know dont seem to get it or understand and I tell them exactly its a show that is so random its not supposed to be coherent like normal shows. That is what I like about it most!

Funny, interesting animation series. Looked so far only the first season, but with great interest I'll look at the rest of the seasons. I really like watching the main characters of this series.

Rick and Morty is just something..
At first I was sceptic about the whole "sci-fi" concept since it's never been my strong side.
Watched the first episode, suddenly it was already time for season 2.
I love how AS have the ability to playaround with neverending ideas and the mindset of the creator actually reflects on my own.
Which is something that almosts feels special because I can predict alot and would be someone who could bring alot to the show if needed.
But I think they can handle that job on their own.
Today I can with 100% confirm, that Rick and Morty. Is my favourite show.

Honestly, I consider Ep 1 of Season 3 to be the best episode of any TV show ever made, it resolves so many things in such an intelligent way, how he escaped from prison and got rid of all of his enemies in one blow, just wow !
Yeah me too my favorite episode so far, I love the part when Rick use Morty being a human shield and a hammer, I laughed so hard on that scene.
They say it's pretty good, i could try it.
