Hey I have my normal gaming computer running 24 / 7 for the past few days at 78 degrees celcius according to speed fan. If i also feel the top right on the side of the case it is very very hot. Is it okay to keep it at this temperature or should I do something about it. (I currently have 2 fans running at 3400 RPM, I could upgrade to the 5500 RPM if need be)

Change your setting and remove your casing Smiley

I've ran 60 Gigabyte Winforce 7950's for weeks at 85 degrees and never lost a single card for mining. I once just to test the limits of the card ran one up to 94 degrees for an hour before increasing the fan to bring it back to 85...card is still running fine.

These cards are a lot tougher than people think.

That's probably too hot. Turn them off every now and then.

depends on the cards.
some cards dont like such high temperatures 24/7.
turn the fans higher if you want. for 24/7 you can run them at 85%.
