Read about undervolting if you have not used it yet.
I use WattTool 0.92, really reduces the energy consumption by 200-250 watts

HOW YOU DO USE IT? have you some settings to suggest?
i use msi afterburner

1200 watts for that combination of cards seems a LITTLE high, unless you're running something less efficient than an 80Plus Gold rated power supply.
I suspect you need to do some optimization work on TDP settings and clock settings.

Download afterburner and search the forum for various settings for each algo. For eth they seem to be happy at 70tdp 200core 700mem (maybe 650 if its a fussy card)

Huh? I already knew that. Thus why I'm mining until I hit the 0.01BTC limit.

Like I said, I'm no fan of nice hash, but I want to hit the limit so I can cash out.

But yeah, my thread is about my hardware so I'm hoping someone has some insight into this.

You missed the important bit at the end. Payouts are on hold and not going out.

Your not getting paid.

1200w is normal for an un-optimized setup of those cards.

Yeah, I imagine I'll get paid out in ETH or LTC, but I'd think it'd still be minimum amount equal to 0.1BTC, thus why I'm trying to hit it.

What are some good resource for look at how to optimise these cards?

I already sent the payment from their internal wallet and it normally came.
And I do not know about anyone who has a problem with it.

You may not be overclocking but are you still running at 100%TDP in Afterburner?

Hi guys,

I've got a mining rig with 6 GPUs:

4X 1070
2X RX580
Celeron CPU

It's running off 2 PSUs, a 850 and 650, both EVGA 80+ platinums.

I've not oveclocked or anything, and I'm wondering how I can get my wattage down, because 1200 watts doesn't seem right!

Any ideas, resources, or first steps?

Edit: I should probably add that this is using Nicehash Legacy currently doing Nist5 and CryptoNight. I usually don't use nicehash, but I'm trying to get to the minimum deposit so I can cash out.

thanks guys,
a
