Splirow, could you post the guide here? Smiley

I'm new to linux too, and with harddrive prices being high as they are, running miners of USB sticks would be pretty sweet!

Well I got BAMT installed and I got one card working, but I am noticing a smaller issue.

I have the card clocked out at 900 GPU, but im only getting 214 hash on average and only 64% load.

How can i improve the load and the hash.  I only have the setting tweaked using the AMD Overdrive program and not through BAMT config yet.  Could that be the issue?

When I use GUminer, I get 300-320 from the same make and model of cards.

Any help would be greatful.

Evening everyone,

Well, I got one of the three rigs ready to go, but im stuck at the software part.

I have been advised to use BAMT, since these will be stand-alone rigs, but I am 100% ignorant when it comes to Linux.

As it stands now, I have a naked 4gb flash drive ready to go, but I need a guide or step-by-step to go further.

Basically, I need steps for Linux install, BAMT install, and how to "remote" monitor from a windows 7 based computer.

Any help or direction would be grateful and rewarded.

Thank in advance.
