I think it's the ordinary 1660 not the super because the Super 1660 gives 30-31MH and two is 62MH but OP description is lesser , 1660 don't consume 70watt from the wall, I have one here it's Galax 1660 none super it uses 45watt in trex miner with absolute core clock and it takes 55watt from the wall, I'm guessing this is what they called silicon lottery?

Wow, it's super efficient with only 55w from the wall, I need to say I never see a 1660 with only 55w.
I had a few 1660 and super, but mine were using at least 70w from the wall
If you can, please share with us the wattage on miner or in a multimeter

My RTX is 3070 Ti and the cards I replaced with are ordinary gtx 1660, no Ti or super, they take less watt from the wall like 50-60 and yes few ones with Samsung memory takes up to 70watts from the wall.

I suspected of a 3070ti by the numbers  Cheesy

I know you have 1660 non super, I just wrote 1660s on the plural, with s meaning plural hehehe  Cheesy

As I said above, all my 1660 were Samsung memory, maybe with another brand of memory or new batches they consume less power
So your power consumption is even better than I thought, you made a good deal.

I don't know your Nvidia RTX graphics card selling price and 2x1660 buying price. If you think that the gtx 1660 is easier to sell on the market, then you may have done the right thing. If my Nvidia RTX didn't give me problems, I wouldn't be selling it.

Which card did you sell? RTX...?
Maybe 3070ti LHR?

I like the 1660s, they are pretty decent at efficiency, good temperatures, easy to overclock and keep running 24/7
I just have to say 2x 1660s will consume more than 120w at the wall, each one will probably consumes 70w or 75w, so 4 of them will be at least 280w

You win in efficiency and temperatures, but lost in density and longevity on another algos after ETH

I sold my Nvidia RTX card yesterday, I figured the watt consumption of 180-200watt just for 60MH is too much, I replaced with 4x 1660, my calculation said 2x 1660 = 54MH @ 120watt is better, 4x is 240watts @ 108MH, I believe I did the right thing or what do you think?
