In my opinion, it is the golden time to buy ripple. As per my analysis, there will be an at least 50-100% growth in ripple. what you guys think about investing in ripple for short-term (one month or so)? here are my reasons';

1)    Strong support and resistance level at the current price.
2)    As we know that ripple is backed by some heavyweights (top global banks) who can really pump up the coin by creating massive volume trade in the
       very short term.
3)    No other good crypto is there for under 1.50$ right now which has this kind of potential, especially in short term.
I believe with great applications of Ripple, and the team behind the extremely powerful Ripple development is only time. In the long run, the Ripple will grow strongly in value as well as its application. Currently the price of the Ripple is $ 1.33 on https://coinmarketcap.com/.
$ 1.33 very good price to buy in, I bought yourself a little.
good luck

I don't think it is a good idea for short term trade.
As some had pointed out, there are lots of people who disliked their idea.
That is, crypto currency are made to replace banks. And if banks,
control XRP, then the goal of crypto currency will be doomed.
Don't trust the whales. It's dangerous.

If you have a big capital, it will be easier to make a decent profit and vice versa.
Ripple ATH was around $3.3 a few weeks ago, assume it may recover to $3, yes it's a good time to buy ripple.
But, I'm not sure whether ripple can make it or people simply have dumped their ripple for good when it was above $3 as I did the same thing.

For me before I don't believe in ripple.  I remembered last few months I sold my ripple with low price because I see some not good for this coin.  But now I bought again last two weeks I remembered and then I hold it for few years to make more profit.  But before I bought I try make a research again about ripple and I see the potential of this coin so that's why I decided to buy ripple again.  For me ripple is good to buy now but it depends to you if you want to buy or not.  But remember the price is lower than $2 and once the price increasing you can earn a lot of profi  for sure because it's not hard to increase kore because it's cheap price.

Your third point is completely invalid and pointless. Please know that the price of each coins means NOTHING compared to the total amount in circulation. You have to look at the market cap to get some real insight. The price again, means nothing. With that being said, Ripple is the complete opposite of what cryptos were meant to be. If you're looking to invest into sound tech and cryptos, stay far far away.  If you're looking for profit alone, sure now might be a good time to get in.

Indeed ripple is retaining centralization and opposed to many core values of crypto. But still, traders are driven by profits not by sentiments. Thanks for pointing out the flaw in my third argument. As you know that there are multiple perspectives regarding trading psychology and cheap price of a coin also have some impact on traders mind. Again it is all based on my limited research and experience so no issue if you find my third argument invalid, after all we all are living in a highly subjective world.

I am here to provide a counter argument and play devils advocate. I think one should never go for Ripple because of the way it is setup but if you must now is probably not the time for it.

1) I don't believe that but I interpret charts differently
2) Yes of course but you really want to be left holding a coin on a whim of a few
3) Massively disagree you say no other crypto but there are more than 1k cryptos out there. The top ones are not always the best ones and this is proof of that.

I really don't like ripple and what it stands for but it is hard to disagree with any of this. Short-term there don't seem to be many better buys, at least out of the more established currencies.
