This isn't a new thing, it's been at least a half-dozen times if not more and even though the developers might have a good concept of Might and might have good intentions, it's still places too much control in the original developers hands or whoever the back holder is at the end of the development period.

As someone who uses Rimbit, I don't think it will survive, whats the point in waiting for interest, when you can mine and get more out of it, I personally do not like rimbit, and I didn't post this on the forums because I know I would get hate, and I can't respond because of my broken finger.

Great to see people on top of things Smiley

What you encountered is referred to as a false positive, which you can learn more about here http://www.techsupportalert.com/content/what-false-positive-antivirus-detection.htm

I didn't check the wallet software for trojans, however, I recently performed an audit of Rimbit's code repository on Github. It is, quite simply, a clone of Novacoin with absolutely no new features. All they've done is tweak a few of the parameters from Novacoin and re-branded it. There is no compelling reason to use Rimbit so far as I can tell.

Thats right.
There is no need to create new features, is there?

When we created Rimbit, our goal was not to make massive profits, but to enable us the ability to develop Rimbit as much as finances would allow us. We have now come to a cross road where Rimbit needs more than what we can offer and needs other aspiring Entrepreneurs to also take the reigns and begin selling Rimbit as far as they can. To do so, means that we need to offer wholesale pricing so these new businesses can make a profit that will enable them to market to their individual niche groups, whether it be tech enthusiast or simply Country based sellers.

We have setup a price purchase that will help Rimbit achieve even greater input with the community by creating tier purchases, based on a short history of purchasing habits, while allowing those that wish to purchase larger amounts, the ability to do so at cheaper rates. We have done this for many reasons, but the main one has been that many of the Rimbit users are distributing Rimbit for free or at very low rates. We can only speculate as to why they do this, which we believe is the concept of Rimbit. This concept is that Rimbit does not need to be mined. It is not involved with pools and as a direct result of those 2 basic removals from the system, has allowed Rimbit to be quicker to transact, avoids anyone from obtaining too large a control of the currency and most of all, creates a more stable trading platform, devoid of crazy fluctuations. The users believe so strongly on these fundamental concepts, that they give away their Rimbit to other people, to grow the most logical version of a crypto currency that is on the market!

So you now have the opportunity as an Entrepreneur to purchase Rimbit at wholesale prices and redistribute RBT as per any other business model. Its a great way to have an online business for those that enjoy tech, customer interaction and being involved in a system that has fantastic potential for years to come.

All you need is a website, some marketing skills and pre-purchase some Rimbit for resale. Its that simple!
We will send you 2000 RBT to get started, once we have seen and approved your website.
However, if you have Rimbit and dont want to apply for the 2000 RBT, then its purely up to you what you want to do with your Rimbit

Rimbit Forum
Rimbit is the future

RimbitA bold statement and we admit it and we do say so for a reason. Not only does Rimbit offer interest on accounts which are issued automatically, but we also do most of the complimentary websites in-house, so that every Rimbit user has the tools they need to conduct business with Rimbit. As we progress month by month, new tools and options will be offered to Rimbit users and merchants to increase value, increase productivity and increase profits for all the people who use Rimbit as a means of transaction.

We take great pride in having the financial resources to develop when, where and how our users request certain products and even though we cannot meet everyone's needs, we do take them under advisement for ideas in future projects and as we also run our own forum, we monitor the comments and listen to what is being said.

Technology ventures can succeed with very little investment, unlike many other industries. A lot of the big Internet players like Google or Yahoo were started by a couple of guys with computers. Microsoft was started in Bill Gates' garage.
