for me it's too easy to call the end of an Altcoins. We do not really think that we have a dynamic market decision and many crypts are in a small state of fries i compared to a traditional market. all people become pumped Altcoins because there are millions and if not thousands of ICOs to be announced to these people. I believe that all of these projects will also be disappointing but there is a saying that when the dust meets only the best projects there are real products and the world's services will remain here because you are a real project.

Dominance of Bitcoin is the same of last year, and what happened in last year, Bitcoin had pumped and altcoin pumped then. And as you said that altcoin already to dump, and we can hope the market will be recovered just like last year  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

It is not Altcoins that are driving down the market it is Bitcoin. The problem is that Bitcoin has no value proposition other than as a store of value based on scarcity, this leads to it being vulnerable to manipulation by traders only interested in short term profit. Eventually there will be a decoupling and the many useful Altcoins will rise in value. For Bitcoin I am afraid that its best days are behind it.

Several years ago Bitcoin had more than 50% dominance over the market and altcoins aren't dead. Now that it's currently close towards 50% doesn't make altcoins dead in any way. Every crypto suffered losses because of the recent price movement but that doesn't mean all coins are going down continuously. These dips are just short term losses we've experienced it multiple times and shouldn't be a surprise if you've been here for a long time.

A trader at tradingview.com has predicted the price of Bitcoin will fall to $ 3000. So, let's prepare yourself to save each of your crypto assets. Whether it's altcoin or Bitcoin. https://www.tradingview.com/chart/BTCUSD/KiqtD7Lk-Bitcoin-will-continue-further-down-to-6000-5000-and-3000/

I don't know what is happening now, the price of altcoins is completely down. Crypto market is really bad now. I hope the altcoin price will improve as before. If the altcoin price does not improve this year, it could be the last year for the altcoin in the crypto world.

Altcoin is extremely knocked down in the market that we can not do but wait for the bitcoin to increase altcoin altogether because the Altcoin drops altcoin so it's better to hold first than sell because we can great when we sell cheap.

Most of the alts are dropping and bitcoin as well.

But are you trying to annoy those TRX and XRP holders? these two coins has the highest drop at this moment.

I'm not holder of these two coins and I don't like both of it.

[funny] if you loss trust on Crypto. let buy a few ETH and forget it until 20 years later.  Grin Grin we need cool
Why choose ETH only? how about choosing bitcoin as well. It's the cause of the market drop and it's cheaper today compare to few days ago.

It was a nice run but with BTC approaching 50% dominance the death bells are ringing for the Alt fad. I won't shed a tear for XRP or TRON.

Relax. the market is just down. Alts do way more than BTC does and Alts are just in the rut right now since the market is down. Alts are gonna go back up again soon.

The whole market dropped, people lost their funds, and it happens everywhere. Go and check the stock market and you will get a trustworthy comparison.

For sure Bitcoin is the biggest it doesn't mean that everything is tied up to it. There are a lot of separate technologies, blockchains, etc.

Also, there are Security Token Offerings that are not so close with BTC/ETH price.

Blockchain and Crypto still has a huge potential, it is a developing industry. Probably, we didn't see its full power yet.

Hey fenican,

Don't lose hope on the AltCoins, with more exposure to the cryptosphere and more technology being based around it I believe invention within the industry will be highly sought after. BTC might have above 50% now but they have had that before and it didn't stop AltCoins from shining. I think the reality is that Bitcoin will likely be around for longer than it should because it was the first cryptocurrency, but higher quality products with the right exposure will overcome it if the technology succeeds.

Best,

The problem with Altcoins is that the market was saturated with ICO's and cash grabs with no real-world products to support their model long term. So many people have been burned time and time again, there is little investment happening in the Altcoin space compared to earlier this year.

Altcoins aren't dead, just the ones with poor leadership, transparency, and solid user-end products.

Thinking about this too. There are a lot of altcoins everyday and most people invest on it for months, that's why their funds are in there until the ICO becomes successful but what if your investment turns bad? It's a waste of time and probably money even if your investments gets refunded. Having a lot of altcoins is also bad for crypto.

altcoin prices have fallen too because of the downgrade of the bitcoin so altcoins have been affected by the downturn of altcoins in the market so hold first and should still be profitable for lower prices altcoins to recover losses.

I think altcoins prices might revive after SEC September ETF final decision, the present effect of the delay will soon subside and most coins will soon breathe fresh air.

I think it's too early to call for the end of Altcoins. You forget that we are in a very volatile market and the volume in crypto is small fries compared to traditional markets. Many people pumped Altcoins because there were hundreds if not thousands of ICOs being launched this year. I believe many of these projects will fail but when the dust settles only the best projects with real world products/services will remain!

So what are you trying to say?  A lot of altcoins now is in the redzone even bitcoin is also dropped. Tron and xrp recently we saw that are having  a good performance,  so in the future I think you won't  be crying.
