I have forget with ripple and close my assets have ripple coin because I bought with higher price last year and now drop under $0.3, I will open again my wallet for three years later and check will possible ripple back to higher price again or not, will be ripple can reach above $5 like what happen with ripple in 2017 can reached to $5, nice to wait for ripple coin price on the top.
To reach the price of $ 5 might be very difficult because the market situation is not like 2017. Nowadays all altcoins have decreased by more than 90% and some are even more than 100%. XRP is currently priced at $ 0.29. I also bought XRP at $ 2 and lost a lot after the Bitcoin dump.

The only that is good for the coin though is that you can send this with just the bear minimum fee. Helpful if you send funds as quick as possible and securely. But then many are still disappointed to XRP price.

The experts of the Ripple say that Ripple is the best. Why then did all banks refuse to cooperate with Ripple? You can say anything you like, however I would never contact Ripple.

And people were expecting banks are actually going to be using ripple because its what they said from years ago. The more you'd be disappointed if you are holding your coin while you have invested to XRP while the price is more than $3 last 2017.

Even though there are many haters of ripple due to its centralized nature (well suited for cross boarder payments), the team has achieved great milestones. The XRAPID product in particular is revolutionary and if adopted will be of great importance to remittance system. I'm not really a big fan of XRP but I do admire the project development. Talking about XRP being more secure and quicker than FIAT alternatives for cross boarder remmitance, I will agree with that.

than other fiat money
This is the kicker right here.  If you compare ripple to fiat, sure it's more 'secure' but how about if you compare it to other cryptocurrencies with more anonymity like dash or monero?

people still holding those 2$ ripple i see....
Not me.  Never have and never will.

Sure. Centralised currency that can never go above 3 USD because the company dumps it instantly...
And this is why I don't own any.  There are so many cryptos to choose from if you're concerned about sending money when crossing borders that ripple seems like just an awful choice.  Even bitcoin would be so much better.

Can we just like Ripple and dislike Libra? Grin I think Ripple is the only centralised coin we need. Despite the negative opinions due to its amalgamate nature, this coin can somehow outperform fiat in cross border payments with quiet competitive fees.

Cros border remittance starts with fiat and ends in fiat and there's no real use of less volatility of Ripple. Ripple has been hyping a lot about it's remittance service but is not able to make a good impression and acceptance in the market. None of the coins have. It's much easier and cheaper to send money in crypto than using the banks at all and I really wish Ripple be the one to lead this revolution in finance.
