Everytime that i want to buy some ripple i use shapeshift It is a very noob-friendly exchange to use.

Probably a lot of people doesn't like shapeshift because you dont have to register and there is no guarantee of nothing if your transaction doesnt go through, but i have been using it to buy some big amounts of ethereum, ripple, and a lot of other altcoins and i have never had any problems with them.

And they support is very active, you can buy ripples is just a few minutes.

If you have any problems you can contact me and maybe i can help you out if you do not know how to exchange them.

Frankly I don't like Ripple due to its centralized nature. But anyway it's pretty good thing to invest in when BTC starts to dump. You can use any exchange that you can find at coinmarketcap.

bitcoin is more centralized than ripple fyi

You can purchase XRP via gatehub or by converting your BTC to XRP via exchanges.

The easiest way is through exchanges. I personally use HitBtc.

Since most XRP is held by the company even in the case that they are useful for something, someday you can bet the institutional customers will buy directly from them suppressing the broad price movement.

You can probably do better with some other coin.

Also XRP is NOT cheap now. Check their market cap..

As other users already mentioned - Ripple can be bought on different exchanges and it has a really cheap price now.
I have chosen a Ripple as a one of my long-term investments. But I am confused if I am right or no.
Many people say, that XRP (Ripple) is not good investment and other people say that it really is a great investment.
What do you think guys? Should I continue investing in XRP? When is this coin going to increase in value?

You shouldn't buy it if you don't like XRP or don't think it has potential to grow in the future. There are a lot of FUD regarding Ripple as being "bankcoin", "centralized coin", "controlled by central banks or cartel". Actually, Ripple has one very clear goal - to make worldwide remittances cheap and fast. They are using Ripplenet that still not necessarily needs XRP tokens but in the future the model is built for financial institutions to use XRP. Ripplenet is just a demo and final version will use XRP tokens. If you're patient, you can bet on XRP but if you are here for a quick $, better don't touch XRP.

I more than like the XRP and really believe in it. I am just a bit nervous about it.
I love the idea of Ripple and I hope most banks will be glad to integrate XRP in future. Patience is hard, but I am trying and going to hold this coin for a long time and believe that one day it's price will significantly rise. Just wanted to know other people's opinions about it. And thank you for your response, I will take it into account.

Ripple or XRP can be easily brought from many major crypto exchanges. Its absolutely safe to buy from any such exchange like the Bittrex, Poloniex, Hitbtc. Every exchange would mostly contain three types of trading pairs. BTC/XRP, ETH/XRP, USDT/XRP. you can easily exchange any of the crypto you have in return for some ripples. But I think ripple is much of sort of a stable currency. It must not be brought for investment purposes.

Nowadays I've got the same problem as the topic starter - which coin should I invest considering medium and long term investment. Some people make advice to buy Ripple (XRP), other ones say "Don't do it at all". Everyone has his compelling argument.  Wink
The idea of XRP devs is good but on a hunch something says me that it isn't my coin. Something makes me not to invest in it nevetheless I keep watching its course rates without buying it. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe no... And what is your opinion, you cryptocurrency investors? Did you invest in "not-your-coins"?  Wink

I guess that the best rates will be at exchanges with big circulation. Take into consideration that many exchanges require verification to operate (mostly withdrawal) big amount of funds. For example Bittrex.

Why to go with exchanges if you can use changelly and get xrp at best rates. Poloniex charged me withdrawal fee of 15 XRP or so. It is insane!

Just get Bitcoin and then exchange it on bittrex, poloniex, kraken etc. There are a lot of exchange platforms. And I think regarding the question on how to buy bitcoin there are a lot of threads in this forum. Just use the search button in the upper right. If you need any more help, just ask again. Best Regards

The most safest way to buy ripple is to buy it from the exchanger that you like most.

And yes you can exchange your bitcoin or any other currency that is readily available for trade against Ripple pair. There is no limit on how much you can buy and for easy trades you can do it with BTC as you look more familiar and safe with it only.

P.S. For buying any kind of crypto currency you should always refer to exchangers and look for its listing. If it’s not there then you can visit the official token website to check for the updates and different modes of acquiring that token.
