So what do you think should be done to stop them now?
The US government is not that stupid to believe the comment of an individual. People can say anything but it is up to the government to do research to ascertain if what they are saying is correct. This is not the first time that some influential people are trying to sabotage Bitcoin. If the government knows that it will benefit from the Bitcoin reserve, it shouldn't listen to these haters.

can someone explain why Ripple gets hate?
It shouldn't even exist:
Ripple has always been the trojan horse in crypto. It is not even a crypto currency. It is just an excel sheet/centralized database. No mining on network, all premined… I don’t even understand why it is listed on crypto exchanges. Obviously it is not a crypto currency because of the reasons I mentioned. It is a token, an illegal security.

Since I'm a little new in cryptocurrencies compare to many of you and OGs, can someone explain why Ripple gets hate? I understand why Bitcoin Cash gets hate but I have also noticed that Ripple and ETH gets hate (not classic).
If Trump's reason of not including Ripple was the fact that Ripple backed Kamala Harris, then it is a huge mistake and proves again that Trump is for his personal gains and interests, not for people (as people think). It means that Trump gives a warning message to other coin CEOs and companies that if they don't support Trump and make a mistake, they'll be punished.
To be honest, I think he was a better candidate than Kamala Harris but it doesn't make him Angel.

I believe crypto enthusiast who has been in the business long enough understands that Bitcoin been sabotaged by any other currency is almost not possible,  they may try but will not succeed so I believe there's necessarily no need of bothering so much about them, XRP been a project that wants to cross the bridge between traditional banking and tye crypto space  will only  try their best but the fact remains they are still not going to completely succeed as there's a whole lot of decentralisation around Bitcoin which they cannot face out completely giving them that disadvantage.

Donald Trump has officially stated that the US will not create its own CBDC (central bank digital currencies).

However, in my opinion, this does not mean that Donald Trump and his friends have suddenly become cypherpunks and freedom supporters. It is just that the idea of creating a digital dollar has caused a lot of objections from many Americans.

However, this does not mean that the idea of building a digital concentration camp in the US has been completely rejected. The goal of Donald Trump and his friends is still a strong US dollar. Donald Trump also wants US government bonds (Treasury bonds) to be in high demand.

I ask myself - do Donald Trump and his friends want to promote decentralized cryptocurrency or centralized projects of American companies? In my opinion, they are more interested in the second option. I would be happy to be wrong.

Centralized shitcoins is a waste of everyone's time. BTC is decentralized, with no third party in control to lobby on its behalf, but the U.S. and some other countries want to create a BTC strategic reserve, because of its utility that's there for everyone to see. However, the shit token owners are throwing millions around in a bid to sabbotage it, a clear reflection of their shit product.

What does he hope to achieve?
According to Google, his net worth is $9 billion. His interests aren't in Bitcoin, his only interest will be to get richer.
The fact that Ripple has a CEO tells you everything you need to know. Bitcoin doesn't have a CEO. Anything decentralized can't have a CEO.

It's crazy that somebody who is not only in crypto, but has a very popular altcoin is against Bitcoin in this way. What does he hope to achieve? Do they believe the world will abandon Bitcoin and follow XRP? I honestly do not understand their thought process because deep down they know bitcoin is superior.
It should be common knowledge by now that the more bitcoin grows the more altcoins grow too, so why don't they all rally behind bitcoin, even if not for the leave of bitcoin, but for the fact that it will favour them if bitcoin succeeds.
They should also know that the cryptocurrency industry will collapse if Bitcoin becomes non-existence because the trust people have in the market is somehow tied to bitcoin. So it makes no sense at all.

Not going to lie, I have a special hatred of Ripple
Ripple, isn't that the centrally controlled shitcoin created to make the creators billionaires?

Ripple has always been the trojan horse in crypto. It is not even a crypto currency. It is just an excel sheet/centralized database.
That's what I thought. From at least the Top 4 on CoinMarketCap, Bitcoin is the only decentralized cryptocurrency. If you'd exclude anything that's not centrally controlled, Bitcoin's market dominance would above 80%.

I can only hope there will be some people who see through this, and realize anything that's centrally controlled is even worse than just going BRRR on the money printer.

It seems Trump has some limited words when the discussion is about the crypto strategic reserve. He doesn't highlight Bitcoin at all or he knows something or some advisors tell him to don't highlight it that much.

And now they are trying to sabotage Bitcoin adoption. I am glad I’ve never touched that hot crap in my whole life.
It's hard to admit but it's already established and despite all of the years that it has been a laggard, their PR did well on it. I don't hold it and I dislike it as well.

How would they even sabotage the bitcoin reserve? At the end of the day it is up to Trump and to the rest of the elected politicians serving the country. What has XRP have anything to do with that? Nothing. They can do anything they want and still nothing will come out of it.

There is nothing stopping them. How reliable is this source even anyway?

XRP will not stop to think they are superior over anything else but what can be done is ignoring them and not buying or holding XRP. There is all that can be done.

“The biggest obstacle for the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve is not the Fed, Treasury, banks, or even Elizabeth Warren. It’s Ripple/XRP.
They are aggressively lobbying against the SBR by throwing around millions of dollars at politicians, desperately trying to derail it.”

How is that working out for them? Pres. Trump just signed an executive order banning the creation of CBDCs in the United States,
plus another order to create a bitcoin stockpile that doesn't include XRP.

Cynthia Lummis author of the bill to create an SBR was also made head of the US Senate subcommittee on digital assets.
In other words the SBR is all but a done deal at this point. I would call that an epic fail for Ripple XRP.

In light of all that Ripple doesn't seem like much of a threat to bitcoin anymore do they? I guess they didn't throw around enough bribe money.
Good riddance to XRP and the entire shitcoin scam industry. They will die a slow painful death into irrelevance.

But perhaps Garlinghouse can stay relevant by defecting to China or North Korea to help the communists set up their wonderful CBDC big brother state surveillance network. Keep hope alive!

Lightning network is good with small amount of BTC
I don't think it's just Ripple, I think there are a lot of shitcoin owners who are going to try to exert their influence to get their shitcoin included in the reserve as well. It should not be forgotten that David Sacks himself was an early investor in Solana, for example.

In any case, it is logical that most of this reserve should be made up of bitcoin.
They have forgotten that bitcoin is highly better than them. They have influence on their centralized coins but Satoshi Nakamoto is an unknown person or organization and decided not to interact with the world anymore. Bitcoin do not have a known founder.  Unlike the coins that these people created mostly for their personal profit and influence.

The right words should be that not most but all of this reserve should be made up of bitcoin.

The thing that comes to my head is "are they worthy?"
The politicians wouldn't want the US to loss their Greatness
So I believe they won't settle for less.

Funny how despite everything Donald hasn't bought any of their coin.

This is who is trying to sabotage the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.
Even if they try to sabotage, they may not succeed, because recently Exodus CEO says there is no XRP strategic reserve only for Bitcoin strategic reserve, which means that Americans only want Bitcoin Reserve.

I think XRP is CBDC but Bitcoin is freedom for everyone.

A Bitcoiner chooses. A slave obeys.
Ripples greatest achievement and most notable pump was due to not getting destroyed by the SEC. Not very impressive if you ask me. Butthurt shitcoiners and their smear campaigning does not scare me, nor will it have any effect on the upcoming SBR.

ETFs were inevitable and so is SBR.

So what do you think should be done to stop them now?

Don't give them the attention they so desperately seek, by bringing them up. Grin

This is who is trying to sabotage the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.

Not going to lie, I have a special hatred of Ripple ever since they tried convince to people that Bitcoin should be banned because of energy emissions.

Seems like they haven't changed a bit.

And not only that, but they appear to have an army of Ripple zealots who want government-held XRP because their bags pumped 6x (only because Gensler was fired, and even then it is less than the total gains on BTC between 2020 and now. The arrogance of these guys man) and that's the only way their bags will pump more.

So what do you think should be done to stop them now?
