Ripple is just a company with a silly centralized token for banks. It's fiat except even worse because it's not controlled by a nation but by a company, and the supply is largely owned by the founders. Ripple can try to make Bitcoin sound bad by trying to link it with the right wing loons and fossil fuels, but Bitcoin is taking over the world and promoting strong finance for people and more and more is going to be using wasted energy and renewables. Ripple is just spitting into the wind and their spit is going to fly back and hit them. XRP is pointless, Bitcoin is humanity's money for the digital age.

This is the person https://twitter.com/chrislarsensf who spend more than 5M$ to attack bitcoin. Problem is he work for a multi billion $ company Ripple, Imagine if Ripple with billion of $ want to attack to btc.
You can at least go on that person's twitter and tell them what they deserve, link:  https://twitter.com/chrislarsensf

OP don't fantasize about the Billion's attack on Bitcoin when it's already trillions sike..

I don't think so a shit coin like XRP is worth it to be discussed with Bitcoin and how a shitcoin can be the enemy of Bitcoin I've experienced the timeline of the entire environmental anti-Bitcoin narrative backed by the XRP officials and at the same time the hate comments and controversies blah blah.

XRP was shit for me from the last Bull run haha, you can say that from the time when I realized the facts of the crypto market and Bitcoin, still I'm learning about Bitcoin, especially about its economic effects and growth potential. I would say ignore such shit.

I am not Ripple fan and enthusiast so I see them like this.

They are pioneer to fight against SEC and actually won against SEC. It is one of very first foundation for blockchain and cryptocurrency industry to more seriously stand up and fight against over power use of SEC recent years. With this point of view, Ripple should be given a round of applause.

A second view of mine, is Ripple is centralized and they are not different than banks or in future CBDCs technically. However it is commonly seen with many altcoins, not only Ripple. I don't say Ripple is good in decentralization but if saying Ripple is the enemy of this industry, I really disagree. There are many altcoins like Ripple and people attack Ripple perhaps because it is one of top altcoins.

Of course. Around 90% of altcoins are centralized. It's the reason why SEC chairman Gary Gensler believes they are securities. ETH is now owned by businesses and corporations after the switch to PoS. Not to mention, it established the EEA (Ethereum Enterprise Alliance) beforehand. XRP is and has always been owned by Ripple, Inc (even though they claim the XRP Ledger is decentralized). The company has many partnerships with banks, so it's normal to see it attacking Bitcoin with its comments. Any bank would do the same.

I wouldn't be surprised if a US CBDC uses the XRP Ledger as its backbone in the future. The cryptocurrency will soar towards new heights, but it will never surpass BTC in market cap. The "King of Crypto" simply can't be beat. If it wasn't for BTC, none of the coins we know and love today would've existed. Kudos to Satoshi for making the best money in the world. Cheesy

Ripple Is biggest Enemy of Bitcoin

As far as I know, Ripple is still involved in a lawsuit with the SEC. How do they have enough time to find a way to destroy bitcoin when they are still not sure of their existence? Also, how does it benefit them and the crypto industry? I think these are just false rumors, unverified and therefore unreliable.

Many people seem to hate Ripple because they are a centralized altcoin but they forget that Ripple's effort and victory against the SEC was a huge achievement in helping the cryptocurrency industry be taken more seriously.

Is Ripple even still relevant? Thought it's on its own way to zero like the rest of the altcoins. Its creators should really stop wasting their scamming profits on trying to pump it one last time and just let it die.

The Ripple creator is the one paying Greenpeace to commit eco-cide against Bitcoin.

Fortunately, I have an answer to that.

GreenpeaceUSA Was Paid By Ripple To Attack Bitcoin

as many have already said, no amount of propaganda or virtue signaling is gonna put bitcoin down in the number one spot, at least not anytime soon. Bitcoin has claimed its throne amidst the adversity, especially during the years of 2014-2015 when it's literally anybody's game and bitcoin's name isn't more famous as say, Ethereum or other cryptocurrencies at the time. And I don't need to tell you how secured bitcoin was right now that they could afford to tank a lot of these propaganda articles without so much as a scratch on its coin valuation. They are gucci so to speak.

Ripple on the other hand has been trying its hardest to claim some sort of spot in the upper echelons of the crypto community. Unfortunately, the only thing that XRP ever claimed throughout its lifetime are shame and allegations as a lot of people in the past have strayed away from XRP denoting its ponzi-like setup, meanwhile bitcoin has practically beaten the ponzi allegations for itself.

So yeah, nobody's afraid of this, no one's gonna believe in green peace and nobody has believed in them for a very long time now after they literally focused on pandas instead of preservation of much more worthy wildlife out there. Bad call from XRP if this was true too lol.

How is this an attack? And how is greenpeace being against PoW some kind of news?

Anyone can change code and make a fork, and anyone can try to change minds on what fork to use. This is nothing... remember the block size war? It was part of bitcoin development, and we probably see people dividing in the future too. It's a part of normal development with consensus.

Strong consensus is what drives the bitcoin, if that consensus can be changed by someone talking (or fudding) and changing minds of people, it wasn't really consensus we deserve to begin with.

Ripple is not relevant anymore, and i wonder why it hasn't died already, but they might honestly believe same values as greenpeace does. Wanting to change the code isn't a conspiracy against bitcoin though. There are numerous other people in this planet who honestyly dislike PoW and want to do something about the huge energy consumption of it. And people donate to greenpeace all the time. Greenpeace doesn't even really "Hate" bitcoin, in fact they used to accepted bitcoin donations in the past, before idea of PoW become too problematic for them.

No one cares about Ripple anymore. Millions of XRP bagholders curse them every day. Chris can spend as much money and propaganda as he wants, but at the end of the day he will see that it won't work. They can spend all the money they want, they can't harm Bitcoin in the slightest. Bitcoin has so quickly imposed itself on even the biggest governments that there is nothing standing in its way.

Not just Ripple, but Greenpeace itself.  The fact that Greenpeace isn't honest and doesn't like bitcoin is really no surprise:  Greenpeace has never been a fan of freedom and has long been a toady to authoritarians, statists and totalitarians around the world.  They love the surveillance state because they can use it to control everyone.  I don't think anyone seriously expected them to have an objective, balanced report on bitcoin given that bitcoin is a tool for freedom and not for authoritarians.

Ripple, Ethereum, etc are all centralized, non-censorship resistant, pseudo-crypto that don't provide 90% of the benefits of bitcoin.

I don’t think so. Ripple is super far from bitcoin and in my opinion it will not reach the 30% of bitcoin. Despite the down of bitcoin it doesn’t reach bitcoin. So ripple is not the biggest enemy of Bitcoin, i would say Ethereum has a chance but who knows, only time will tell.

Right but i don’t think Ripple can success there target of damaging bitcoin. Bitcoin's market cap is not an easy task to kill in Bitcoin. And with the amount of popularity that Bitcoin is gaining day by day, these attacks will make Bitcoin more popular because when people see that Bitcoin is in a very strong state despite such attacks on Bitcoin, then people's confidence in Bitcoin will increase and people will start investing in Bitcoin more blindly. will do so I think such an attack or attack plan will bring a positive result for Bitcoin ha ha ha
Purpose of attacks on Bitcoin is not always to bring it down. They know that is impossible at this point. Sometimes the point is to advertise their own shitcoin. If you recall 2017 or search the news the term "flippening" was trending from centralized shitcoins that were trying to take advantage of the spam attack (some even funded it) so that they could hype their own coins up and pump them to make a big profit.

In case of Ripple, one goal they always had was to sell their tool (Ripple not XRP) to banksters as a blockchain protocol "better" than Bitcoin and make some money.

Could you share any document, link about Ripple engagement in 2017 spam attacks?
Unfortunately not. Just saying from memory. There were a lot of discussion back then about those who were funding the attack and some guys on reddit who followed the money were presenting some links to altcoin creators like Ripple, Ethereum and Dash.

I don’t get it, FUD in Bitcoin is just about FUD in crypto at large. So why would he do that. Also, why try to fight with something that brought you into existence? Bitcoin brought about all cryptocurrencies today, and you’re picking a fight with the big guy? I don’t see a need for this because every cryptocurrency has its unique features; Ripple can never be Bitcoin.

Nobody cares about what Ripple says. It's a centralized "shitcoin" anyways. Between Ripple (XRP) and banks, there are no differences. They're practically the same. Bitcoin is the one that will render these entities obsolete if it continues to rise all the way to glory. Some countries have even gone as far as adopting BTC as legal tender, so there's a high chance it will be used on top of Fiat in the future.

Beyond what you said and we need to think a little more. What is the purpose of Ripple spending billions of dollars to attack bitcoin and what benefits do they get behind it? We all know that bitcoin is the king of the cryptocurrency industry and the entire cryptocurrency industry depends on bitcoin. If bitcoin crashes, no project can survive and even the cryptocurrency industry will cease to exist. So there is no reason for Ripple or any altcoin to try to destroy bitcoin. Why don't we think that this is an action from outside to disrupt and aim to sabotage the cryptocurrency market?

I wouldn't say "biggest enemy" but Ripple guys have had their share of animosity towards bitcoin. During 2017 spam attack, they were one of the participants that funded the attack to flood the mempool with garbage transactions increasing the fee and making it hard for bitcoiners to use bitcoin. I wouldn't be surprised if some day we find more evidence of their involvement in the most recent spam attack against bitcoin under the codename Ordinals.
I didn't know that Ripple stood behind 2017 spam attacks on Bitcoin mempools. I only knew these spam attacks mainly come from Roger Ver and B Cash team.

Mother of all spam attacks on bitcoin network! proof? I searched and found some topics, this one is yours and no information about Ripple.

My guess in what will happen in the future is that ripple tried to attack Bitcoin but it isn't successful and the reason why ripple attack Bitcoin is to gain popularity but the results is different where Bitcoin gained more attention and popularity to people and ripple are now hated by many people because of attacking Bitcoin. In my opinion, I think they should have used that money for improvement and other things that could be useful for ripple's future instead of using it to pay Greenpeaceusa to attack Bitcoin.
I am still curious why Ripple is still in the top 10 highest market cap. Only what they are driving to stay at the top 10 is price manipulation and now you hear this, how dare they attack the King, lol. By doing this, they are just destroying their already destroyed image.

This would just be yet another attack on Bitcoin sponsored by those who hate Bitcoin and like the rest it would not hold much water. Bitcoin has proven to be here to stay and no individual, organization or country can bring it down.

Try making a quick search on those attacking Bitcoin you would see a long list even from religious leaders, but none has achieved their malicious aims. Bitcoin controls the market even if we want to ignore that it is the truth. The bull run happening now would depend on how Bitcoin does, that is how strong the impact of Bitcoin is already.

Ripple and team are only spreading FUD to negatively-impact market prices to buy more BTC at a discount. JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon did it, US Senator Elizabeth Warren did it, and even Warren Buffet himself. They will still hate Bitcoin even if it becomes legalized worldwide. The question is: Are we going to pay attention to these FUDsters? Or are we going to keep supporting Bitcoin no matter what? Time has proven these people wrong with BTC reaching a new milestone every 4-5 years. Fiat currencies will collapse due to constant money printing (inflation) by central banks. It should only be a matter of time before this happens. Just keep buying and "hodling" BTC, and forget about the rest. Cheesy

Dismissing negative attacks entirely might be shortsighted.  While Bitcoin has weathered past storms, the potential impact of a coordinated attack shouldn't be underestimated.  Imagine a well-crafted campaign that highlights security vulnerabilities, environmental concerns, or regulatory scrutiny.  This could create uncertainty among some investors.

The focus on Bitcoin's market dominance is valid.  Its historical performance and current market share are undeniable.  However, the cryptocurrency market is volatile and constantly evolving.  Newcomers like Ripple could potentially challenge Bitcoin's position if they address scalability concerns and offer attractive features.

No matter how much Ripple plans to kill Bitcoin I don't think their plans will succeed. If Ripple plans to kill Bitcoin, Ripple itself will die in return. From the current position of Bitcoin, I can tell who is dying by distinguishing between the position of Bitcoin and the position of Ripple(XRP). Ripple(XRP) is slowly losing popularity despite being the top currency.  People don't want to be with Ripple (XRP) anymore. And how will people hold on to this Ripple (XRP) if there is no increase in their price.

Clearly a waste of time, bitcoin is already high in the bull fir Ripple to do shit to them and I don't see how their plan woudl work, people won't give a shit as long as bitcoin remains in green, that's what move people not these kind of news and yeah could be a rumor.

I use to believe in Greenpeace back in the days when i was watching their world navigation to help the world to be a better place but that ends when things like this comes to revealed and indeed, even how much Ripple and other crypto tycoon spends to bring bitcoin down , yet they will never succeed because it is the people that shows how they are supporting bitcoin and will never buy those criticism and even those kinfs of attacks.

Well is obvious that ripple has a better future but not to be compared with that of bitcoin,i don't think if ripple can beat bitcoin reason is because bitcoin is popularly known as the father of all coin, considering the numbers of Investor's that bitcoin has gain in the industry. even if they spend a huge amount of money in campaigning to bring bitcoin down, I'm pretty sure that they won't succeed, rather they are still making bitcoin to become more popular, probably even if they succeed in that campaign most of the Investor's might decide not to invest in those coin either. Reason is because a lot of Investor's see bitcoin as the most profitable coin among others.

Yeah at this point what ever they do would only draw more attention to bitcoin and clearly their timing is even worse cause right now anyone who hears about bitcoin would also be hearing of profits and the bull, so definitely they woudl get an opposite result from what ever they plan to do now.

I laughed at the title that OP made. I don't know if this OP mustered the courage to say such a thing, to be honest. But in fairness, I've heard rumors that when this ethereum spot etf is approved, there will also be a rally in Ripple, and I'm not sure about that because it's just a rumor that I've heard. I just don't know if that's true.

Then the ripple is also because there are obviously manipulators there, and it is a centralized-based coin that the only ones who benefit greatly from it are whale investors, as far as I know.

I don't think that such an attack will be felt on Bitcoin. I mean, just look at Ripple's market cap, it's only 34 billion USD, while Bitcoin's is 1,250.38 billion USD, the difference is like heaven and earth. Moreover, the popularity of Bitcoin is much greater than that of Ripple, which the majority of people don't even know what it is or how it works. So there is no need to worry too much about this Ripple attack, because they are just embarrassing themselves with this action.

How Ripple Will be bitcoin's biggest enemy Ripple is a centralized bitcoin is decentralized. When the foundation of the cryptocurrency started to gain popularity there were people on BitcoinTalk.org offering to pay saying that Ripple was a centralized scam. Bitcoin is the strongest currency and one of the most mainstream cryptocurrencies today and due to its popularity there are more Bitcoin investors in Bitcoin portfolios than Ripple. Initially Ripple was different from the usual crypto technology as it would not be as powerful as Bitcoin.

How can Ripple beat Bitcoin if it is a centralized one while the one they live in is a decentralized one? If any government can't beat Bitcoin, what about Ripple, which also follows the government's regulations?

I don't know what their big reason is for them to beat Bitcoin. then no matter how strong they are, they still won't be strong enough to bring down Bitcoin, frankly speaking.
whatever they want it to do with bitcoin it will only turn into waste in the end.

Ripple just seem fine for people who always wanted to be under control of the centralised rulers, and if they target Bitcoin they will only end up helping Bitcoin to become more popular.

Ripple is 101% centralised, and some people like it this way, unfortunately, I am one of those who don't like centralised projects like Ripple.

Bitcoin is 101% decentralised, I happen to know few people who are onto Bitcoin because it's decentralized, and that includes myself, the one reason why I will always choose Bitcoin is because its the only thing that work as full decentralized in the world today, nothing else.

Good luck with the attack, it won't make BTC fanboys dump their BTC and start buying Ripple, if Ripple wishes to be a better Bitcoin just like many ALTs wanted, using an Attack isnt going to make it right, it will only make it much more worse.

Even if they spend hundreds of billions for that kind of attack, I don't think that we're ever going to see any change in bitcoin, in fact, the moment that bitcoin becomes Ripple's target means that they're going to give bitcoin more popularity and people that's invested in bitcoin doesn't really care too much about what others will say about bitcoin in a negative manner because at the end of the day, bitcoin is the one that will always come out on top. If Ripple doesn't even try to do other things, we'd probably see no results with what they're currently doing, they need to do some planning regarding how to impact bitcoin market in a negative way and without that plan ever biting them from the ass when they execute that plan.
No force can destroy Bitcoin by attacking it. $5M is a very small amount of money for Bitcoin and it makes me laugh to think how the price of Bitcoin would change if someone attacked Bitcoin with that amount. Bitcoin is the father of all coins. so no effort can stop Bitcoin.  Bitcoin may be temporarily damaged by using large amounts, but it will recover very quickly.

First, the article was saying GreenpeaceUSA paid $5M to him, not more than $5M or Billion! don't make a random assumption. There's a research that calculate it needs at least $5B to $20B to attack Bitcoin, $5M is nothing to compare with $5B.

And even they have such huge amount money, high performance mining rigs aren't available, it takes time to produce it. This make them need to spend more and more than that, moreover mining difficulty will increase and it make attack to Bitcoin is never be achieved.

Funny imagination, so why don't you try to think that bitcoin has value and attack altcoins Smiley , in fact there is no worthy opponent in the crypto space, or rather we often compare bitcoin with gold, stocks,... This incident just wants to attract attention from people who want to do something.

I see that in the crypto space, not only XRP but also many products want to prove themselves and criticize bitcoin, but they are just a small drop in the glass.

Is Ripple even still relevant? Thought it's on its own way to zero like the rest of the altcoins. Its creators should really stop wasting their scamming profits on trying to pump it one last time and just let it die.

In the long run Bitcoin will win against every last altcoin, because they will run out of money to pump themselves or spread FUD against Bitcoin, since they don't have any fundamentals that could give them true value.

I don't understand the whole story any longer, I thought ripple who is behind XRP are working towards making XRP a decentralized global currency for CBN , there by leveling all differences in currency and providing a quick exchange rate.
If they are now sponsored  against bitcoins , what then is all this . This is not cool at all
Simple, they want XRP to be more powerful than bitcoin. As of now, the XRP price is nowhere near the bitcoin price, and even now, investors involved in XRP are not too mucb compared to bitcoin, so I know we all know what their motives are. Even if they make this kind of attack, I don't think people or investors in bitcoin will be affected, mainly because that's just an attack. Where is the proof? That is the red flag in social media. Now they can easily release fake news or accusations without proper proof or evidence, so of course many people are easily believed in social media, but even though I don't think bitcoin prices will be affected by this attack, I'm sure just laughing at this kind of attack seems like a childish accusation. They can't match bitcoin, so they will just do attacks like this in order to pull bitcoin down, which is impossible.

Who really cares about who's attacking bitcoin these days, it's just sound one of those many attacks going down bitcoin history which we have seen how they all went off and bitcoin kept waxing stronger with growing value and more adoptions. Imagine the marketcap of bitcoin today compared to the value of it's attacker not sure the know where to spend their money on but from what am seeing just like past attacks this one will pass too.

Wow! That some means to get some popularity, slander Bitcoin’s code for its mining power and hope that the tides will turn towards ETH and XRP. I suppose this was made to put XRP in the lame light as a direct support of green and renewable source of energy but obviously, I’ve not seen XRP done much for the project since 2020. They’ve been about the cent value since then and even the growth we see now in the market is barely reflected on XRP.
A shift in focus is how they fail, other than having to seek means to develop the coin further, they got busy with trying to sponsor campaigns designed to slander so they rise.
Unfortunately, it’s always been a campaign for Bitcoin promotion. They never learn, Bitcoin is the people and your not changing people’s will just like that.

Ripple here don't want to accept the fact that Bitcoin is doing well, better than them and so they are trying all there possible best to bring down Bitcoin, because of the way Bitcoin is being structured and been managed ,people tend to prefer Bitcoin to XPR.

Ripple is one of the first blockchain to separate from Bitcoin mining system and investing in XPR is not safe which is not ideal for many investors because of its high price in volatility and not easy to predict future trends in the crypto market ,and because of these facts investors prefer Bitcoin to any other coins, that is why the sentiment.

Do you think that such things can stop Bitcoin and make Ripple take its place? That is never going to happen, no matter how hard they try.

When Bitcoin was starting to gain traction, people started to know about it and it was becoming popular, news outlets and global media tried their best to make it look negative so that people stop adopting and using it, but guess what? They failed miserably, and all that is still happening on a larger scale and every single entity or individual trying to defame Bitcoin and show it in a bad light is seeing no positive result.

The truth is, Bitcoin is passed all those things and it has now become way stronger than they think, so they can't break it anymore.

Up until now, no alt can surpass the popularity of bitcoin among its crypto users. And I don't think ripple has the chance to overcome bitcoin's usage of popularity. In terms of adoption, many people will still opt for btc even for long-time holding.
The issue of XRP with SEC creates hesitation to crypto users not to get involved with this project.

Bitcoins biggest enemy.... who is it really? So it is not ripple and it is not the SEC or the devil. Maybe be humans if they dont want bitcoin anymore and I dont think anyone else can stop bitcoin. The topic doesnt need to chance, but lets take humans as the enemy.... or maybe aliens at some point  Wink
In the next years or 20/30/40 years a lot of digital things will change, the technology will get faster/better and im curious to see what bitcoin will be able to do and how much it will be worth. And i think there will be a new fiat currency in this world.

What a laughing stock! This is from their official website:

Quote
We are independent
We don’t accept funding from governments or corporations.

But they have no problem with a hefty donation from Ripple's co-founder and executive chairman to publish demonstrably false and biased reports attacking their competition. And, the nerve to talk about lobbying – pure hypocrisy!

Oh yeah, they have years doing that. Color me surprised, many bankers hate Bitcoin because Bitcoin replaces banks Smiley
I wouldn't call it "biggest enemy", its just another useless altcoin that some bankers control. It did not catch on, even some of their own people prefer State CBDCs, digital fiat, all trash.

How many times has this happened? Bitcoin is constantly attacked by different groups and organizations. It even received attacks until now from the government itself but look at it still flourishing and performing well. Over the years, many ‘experts’ have expected bitcoin to go down in value whenever something bad happens  but bitcoin keeps proving that wrong.

This time won’t be any different

Ripple is not even crypto. It is a centralized database/security. It is such a shame that coinmarketcap still lists it in their marketcap list. The exchanges should delist ripple and it should get banned by the SEC and every other central authority there is. Ripple's own existence is an attack on crypto. It shows that people will trade anything as long as they can trade it. It shows us that most people aren't interested in the fundamentals and that's very concerning. If you can believe that there are actually ripple fans who think ripple is a good project. Ripple is one of those trojan horses in the crypo sphere waiting the right time to go kamikaze on us all.

Bitcoin has a marketcap of over $1.31 trillion. Ripple has a marketcap of less than $35 billion.
Ripple is centralized as shit but Bitcoin is decentralized
There is ripple reserve that ripple use to scam people but bitcoin has no hidden reserve. All bitcoin sent to your wallet can be withdrawn, unlike ripple with ripple reserve.
If you say ripple is bitcoin competitor, either you are drunk or you do not know what you are saying.
Bitcoin will certainly cripple ripple coin. I believe some person don't do any research whatsoever Before starting up to write all sort of jargons that they possibly think of because I believe the OP is probably just seeking attention to himself because looking at the market price cap and other stats, it's vividly clear that Bitcoin and ripple coin are no mate and not in the same league whatsoever infact I believe in the crypto space Bitcoin hasn't got no competitors as it clearly beats all other coins.

Ooh, that's a pretty low blow there, with info that they got paid by Ripple. Well, it's great that it was figured out, and there's an obvious conflict of interest there. The only thing I'd mention is that this news is almost 2 years old, the articles date back to the end of March 2022. So I'm not sure how, where, and why it's breaking news.
Ripple is trying to compete against Bitcoin, but the thing with Ripple is that no matter how hard they try to get the favour of traditional players like banks, they just aren't getting enough attention and aren't valuable enough to them. Bitcoin stays true to itself and successfully beats Ripple.

At the moment, no coin is the enemy of Bitcoin, especially Ripple. Bitcoin has its own purpose and has its userbase, it's impossible to make Bitcoin user a fan of Ripple because these coins have very different fundamentals and to say it briefly, very different fanbase. If there is a competition between cryptocurrencies and any cryptocurrency becomes a worthy competitor of Bitcoin, then it will be amazing. We shouldn't look at crypto world like this or that coin is an enemy of Bitcoin, there doesn't exist enemy crypto, there is only a better crypto and bitcoin should be progressive to be the number one cryptocurrency.

Ripple is nothing in this game, Ripple can't destroy a coin that has 37 times bigger marketcap than Ripple itself. So, I wouldn't worry about it.

Does cryptodaily.co.uk has bad user interface or am I the only one who found it hard to the article? I think, different source as a reference would be better.

Ripple is just a shitcoin that is just seeking attention by attacking Bitcoin. It is a common practice in business for inferior competitors to attack the main products just to get cheap publicity. The price of XRP Ripple is just $0.6395, so it is not close to the price of Bitcoin which shows that the coin is not close to being a competitor.

They will always claim to be the saviour of the environment to attack Bitcoin. Meanwhile, banks use more power and even Xman Light during Christmas consumes even more electricity. We have seen more Bitcoin mining firms diversifying to clean and green power success. All these attacks will not have any effect on Bitcoin because the coin has even quelled bigger attacks.

This news doesn't come as a surprise but these attacks won't have any major affect for Bitcoin and I stopped trusting this shitty centralized coin Ripple long time ago and to be honest this was created to disrupt the crypto market as this was the first centralized token. It's very clear from day one that Ripple was created to convert the decentralized money into centralized and we have seen how they pumped it hard during 2017 and even managed to reach #2 rank for a while but they have failed and now more people are aware about their intentions and this would only give more investment to Bitcoin and people would stay away from Ripple.
