Ripple has been doing great in the past months, despite the recent market condition, in my opinion, and I think that this is another coin that will take the cryptocurrency industry to the next level. I think that it is very possible for this coin to hit the ten dollar mark this year, and I can't wait for that to happen.

I think it is a great coin and a great project, and will be a huge success. The only problem is that as market cap grows, each order-of-magnitude increase becomes more difficult. This is why it is the smaller coins that can multiply x10 or x100 in a short space of time. XRP has multiplied x10 over the last month, but another x10 would put it close to $1 trillion cap - on a par with the very biggest companies in the world. x100 for XRP is not really imaginable at the moment for the same reason. But then who knows? The market continues to surprise...
with its growth in attendance supported by many enthusiasts who attended. so it would be very advantageous to have Ripple in 2018.
I don't believe in ripple, an obscure coin with obscure features and capabilities. Most is in the hands of the creators, can freeze all accounts, and nowhere confirmed that the coin is used by banks. Banks use the technology, not the coin.

I think this price for ripple is quite possible, but only by the middle or the end of 2018. Keep in mind that xrp very speculative coin and it all depends on large investors. It should stay below $1 as it is worthless centralized coin by these bankers,do not be fooled by these bankers.

We can make as many forecasts as possible, but the price of the coin does not depend on our opinion. This coin is not as decentralized as we want. And many guess that the price of a coin depends only on its inventors. But it seems to me that they are planning to make this coin very valuable.
Ripple and it's partner Stellar have gone mainstream in short order and hard to believe. In 5 days, I've doubled my money in Ripple and tripled in Stellar. In my opinion FWIW and judging by reading the various news outlets and from information I've received, Coinbase is currently integrating Ripple behind the scenes. Coinsquare in Canada has publicly stated Ripple is in the works as well as a few others. IMHO, when Ripple goes mainstream on Coinbase, the sky is the limit. In a week, it's surpassed many of it's competitors and total market share is over half of Bitcoin. It'll never remotely get close to what the price of Bitcoin is due to the supply but it's possible in my opinion to reach $50 by end of 2018.
I watch as Ripple grows and one part of me wants to buy and participate in the general emulation. And my second part says - see how many other good projects. So far, I have not decided to invest in ripple money, although it is in 2nd place. I think in Ethereum my money will be more secure.
$20 is not that far if ripple will keep up with its current pace for this whole year. Investing with ripple will be a right choice because ripple is now showing what its capable of like when it comes to increasing its market cap. It is now next to bitcoin. And i hope this to continue. Ripple/XRP has already received a lot of attention recently. This has already caused the price to skyrocket and has crossed $3.5 already making it the second most valuable digital asset. Once it hits the mainstream market completely we can expect the price to go even much higher.
For me, Ripple in it's design is nothing special and I don't really understand the current hype. I'd say that Ripple's marketcap should not surpass Ether's.
At the end of 2018 I think #RIPPLE/ XRP will touch 50$ USD value because it has good project for lolong run and their technology is very good and fast than other Alts coin.
$50 could be possible, but the truth is that no one can say exactly if this would be the case as we cannot just judge based on the present moment. XRP may look good now, but a lot of things can change eventually. I am not against the coin, and I am not for it as well, but for the sake of investment, I would rather stay away from it. There are so many other coins with great prospect that would still give me better and I would be relaxing holding.
If you like the decentralized application and cryptocurrency market, you will never going to like Ripple. Like someone suggested it is a wolf disguised in a sheep's skin. It stands against the whole vision of decentralized system. Yes, it is implemented in block Chain technology but gives you false sense of attributes of cryptocurrency.
Ripple price will keep flunctuating between $2 - $5 in Q! and then Q2 wil be $9 and Q3 $15. Finally by the end of the year it will be $22.

Well the price is now $3.17 which was unheard of just last week. I would say it will get to the $10 range in 2018.
Some people say that on 2nd week of February 2018 XRP prices will touch $10 USD mark and set new record fastest cryptocurrency who started with low priced to become mid-range cryptocurrency.

Ripple has increased so rapidly lately, that bitcoiners are finding it more and more suspicious as it's a 'bankers' thing. Especially the old soldiers here on the forum don't trust ripple. However, the price is increasing and it could give hood returns in 2018.
I've got to say I am done with speculating prices because it can only do harm from what I see. Even when I am completely right I feel like an idiot for not following my instincts. The reason I am writing this post is that I've read a lot of posts that create FUD about Ripple lately. Can someone direct me to the conspiracy theories (if there are some interesting reads) that banks are actually buying into XRP so they can crush other prices down?

I think that the price of Ripple is overpriced, as Ripple as far as I know does not have a broad use, as this is intended to be used by banks, that was its initial purpose.

I am of the belief that ripple is nearing its full potential and would say the highest price it can reasonably achieve is about $5. It may reach higher but I think that would just be the result of a pump.

I would bet Ripple will hit the mark of $10 to $20 before 2018 ends and I believe in Ripple as the second highest valued market capital and nothing is impossible if people found it a good coin and more stable than other top Altcoins.
Meantime, Ripple already made a great move, so can guess 2018 gonna big. However, Ripple is extremely overbought, currently trading around $2.9, technically there is waiting massive correction, recent spike completed unnatural.
My prediction is will be around 4-6 usd by the end of 2018 but after hitting 6$ drop will be very fast cause of premined coins will be dumped immediately after hitting their target and target must be around 6$

i am beyond predictions by this point. i can't believe something like this reached the price it has. it goes to show dreams can come true even if they're really ridiculous ones.
I will not be surprised if in the first quarter this coin drops to a price of $ 1. A lot of noise around. I am sure that this manipulation of large investors will not continue for a long time. But something is for sure hard to imagine.

It depends maybe in 2018, there will be bear market or bubble burst. Then we can see ripple below $1 again and it can be even good price for the future market.
Yes you are right mate, mid of 2017 ripple jumped so high and after some months begin to fell back, I think its still depend on how the market will seeusage of this project, if more transactions will be made then i think it can up reaching 10-50$ but if the support would be lack then surely it will fell back

On the other hand, if those household names are finally announced, we could be going higher up much faster!I think that it will experience a good pump and price increase in the next year. Many people has been shifting focus on Ripple as those up-and-coming altcoins in the market right now. Like other altcoins trends in the past, that focus may lead to increased trades and investments that hopefully would contribute in increasing its value. However, for it to reach 50 dollars, there is a need to have so many positive investments and trades to happen first because there is a lot of ground to cover, considering that right now, it's only around the $3 dollar mark.

But it is worth to diversify the portfolio basket to minimize your risk because nobody can predict the true outcome of the volatile market especially crypto.
No one can tell you what will become of Ripple itself by the end of 2018 as well as the price of ripples, but one thing for me, is that no matter how much ripple gets, it would not reduce my dislike for the coin and what is just being done on that coin now is just some manipulations just to push it upfront being a centralized coin and nothing less but it depends on everyone and if all you are after is profit alone, then you can do what you feel is good for you.
I always keep on suggesting my friends to stay away from all centralized projects. Some already show positive signals as per my suggestions but not sure when this total crypto community is going to understand this fact.

Alt season has just started, and look Ripple is already reached $2usd. Based from speculations Ripple might hit 5usd this year. And there is also a probability that it might touch 10usd.
To be honest I personally do not like Ripple as it is centralized without any kind of cap, which basically means unlimited supply. But whatever rocks your boat man, a lot of people are buying ripple, so yeah maybe it can make you good money. But why not consider so many other great projects out there like 0x or kyber?
which I believe xrp is one of the coins with great potential so it can make profitable investment growth as the price will get better in 2018

Since i know ripple now at the price 2 usd when the first launch it start at price 0.2 usd. Its still going to rise. But for invest now at the ripple maybe not to late, if the price still on 2 usd. You could hold it in long term wish it could reach 4-5 usd. Many said ripple have a potential future as a coin but it's just an opinion. Ripple is one of many rising cryptocurrencies (fe Dogecoin), but its very interesting, because its actually placed on rank two and even overtook Ethereum on marketcap.
At the end of 2018 I think #RIPPLE/ XRP will touch 50$ USD value because it has good project for lolong run and their technology is very good and fast than other Alts coin.
Although I agree that the price will rise significantly, 50 dollars would be a bit much at the end of 2018 don't you think? That's another fenomenal jump in value after this year already.
