I opened my Ripple Wallet last month (online options were Bitstamp and Gatehub). Ended up sticking with Gatehub because their verification process was faster (3 days), and their customer service actually answered my questions.
Bitstamp on the other hand took 6 days to verify my account, and it wasn't until after my account was verified that I finally received a response to my support ticket.
