Keep it Simple guys :)
I did take a look at the whitepaper...
Seems fine, although the technical part is very basic. Not sure if this project is in an already advanced stage. Probably not.
More info would be much appreciated.

So since the 2017 year, nothing has clarified for this project? Is it viable or not?

but today i saw this project on coinmarketcap
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/render-token
also people can trade this token on Hoo and probit exchange

I Love DeepOnion!
Including  RLC, I think the time project idea like this will attract marekt attention is gone, just look at Golem that raised alot of fund over a year ago till now nothing concrete has been delivered by the team

Exactly.
Supercomputer technology is a brand new field and blockchain as well.
Anyway i am sure that soon or later one of those who are trying will actually make it  Wink
In my opinion Golem is almost there..something is going to happen soon..they have been quite silent for a while.

It's pretty interesting,
but there are already similar projects going on :

- Golem
- Elastic
- Sonm

So in my opinion this is not a good blockchain service to invest on.
The ones above are already many steps forward and as history teaches the one who joins the game first is the one to actually rule the game  Wink

p.s. If you want to be part of a real project with a strong community and a brilliant future,Deep Onion is the thing to put your money in!
Take a look at their site and project :
www.deeponion.org
Best POW and POS plus full privacy over transactions and helping the TOR network to work and grow.

The ICO is live since two days for pre-registered: https://sale.rendertoken.com
Official ICO starts in close to 12 hours from now: https://register.rendertoken.com/news

It's part of the company otoy, some might have heard of octane renderer.

Disobey.
Isn't this what Golem does?
Yeah I briefly thought about Golem, too, but I thought it would only be used for CPU tasks. However looking at their website they explicitly state that rendering would be one of the real-use-cases. If Golem can access GPUs that would indeed make this RNDR token quite obsolete I guess.

I don't know if anyone in this field is actually really doing anything. A lot of good theories, I'm ready for an actual use and project that can really do this.

I just found this, someone commented on a youttube video. I couldn't find a bitcointalk thread about the project and was wondering why there is none.
Does anyone have further information on this?

The idea looks good, would be very cool if there was a system competing for the render-power of GPUs that are currently mining. It could result in a reduction of difficulty for GPU based crypos if there is enough demand to direct GPU power to rendering.
However I have no idea if this a legit project.

The website is slow I wonder if they are Monero mining in the background.  Cheesy
