What it means "Quality Post" ? Should we  write article or something ? anyone can guide ?
Quality post is something useful to everyone here and not redundant to what have been said hundred of times already.

If we are newbie and still learning crypto, it is very hard for us to write something which senior members here will consider "Quality Post" unless your educational attainment is more or less can relate to crypto. The best we can do is read more, talk less and don't deviate to the rules of the forum set by the administrator.

Sometimes a song can be applicable to this forum "You say it best when you nothing at all".  Smiley

Quality Post means you need to create helpful post without any spam. Yes you can create article about cryptocurrency and others helpful topic. Also you can make reply on others persons post to help him.

Hi Twkasun52  (nice name  Grin btw)

When I first joined this forum, I was reading everywhere (just like you do now) "make sure to post quality comments" so this is how I tackled it.

I always try to help as best I can, I mostly hang out here in Beginners and helps forum, there are lot of users seeking help
I take the extra time to research the topic I am about to post about, if need be.
I offer links to quality content about requested topic, if I have any to share.
I look at the question/dilemma through my eyes - in other words, what reply would I like to get.
I offer my honest opinion, if my fellow is seeking it.
Politenes goes a long way, it's nice to be nice  Wink
I never write posts with the thought of getting Merit in return.
I actually never expect anything in return, it shows in your answer (ok, Thank you is always nice).
Enjoying it, makes the whole "task" easier.

Sometimes all this could be just a couple of sentences put together, so you don't have to write any articles (to answer your question). Anyway at least I feel like this.

Sorry for my rumbling, my mind was flying to new heights there a bit  Grin

Anyway, hope this helps, cheers.

Your following strategies very good and if others newbie follow this all rulse then this forum will become more clear and spamless forum. Hopeful people will learn how to make good quality post on this forum by following your strategy.

What can be posts useful:
1) Manuals or personal experience recorded in text format. I'll give you an example, DdmrDdmr, I admire this man. He makes a lot of his own developments, for himself and shares them with everyone. This is a big man on this forum. Look at his history of merit and you will understand everything.
2) Manual on a specific topic. For example about some social network or website. I met useful manuals on Steam Golos and other social networks, which are written in very accessible language. And these articles have collected a lot of merits. Take note
3) Comments to other posts. This is probably the most important thing on this forum. Be useful and write really complete answers to the question asked by the author.

Sorry for my English, I'm improving it

It means stop writing crap one liner posts, even ones that ask questions to which there is an obvious answer. Spend time writing a quality reply that is useful and preferably different to what others have already suggested. If your response is the best, there is a possibility of getting a merit.

While I don't have lots of merit but atleast some, I think a good way is to simply not focus on merit gaining. Instead, find interesting topics in the categories you like, discuss them like a normal person, provide input, "expertise" if you have any etc, instead of chasing merits by doing what you think people want to see. In the end, it's other people who give merit - people can give merit to a shitpost if they want to!

Think a topic that you think can contribute to the forum. For example:

What is a General thread?
This is one of the first of (probably) many general threads that will be created in this subsection. A General thread will contain relevant information related to the question/subject of the title thus duplicate threads related to it are not allowed. Posts within a general thread will be harshly moderated and anything remotely useless will be removed. These threads are supposed to be informational, and reposting similar information multiple times is not allowed. You are free to discuss information that has been posted, but keep it short and civil (more than 5 replies is too much). Questions about information provided in this thread are not allowed either.

What are General threads for?
General threads are meant to be used as an overview of useful information and to prevent unnecessary duplicate threads within the section. After 10 pages this thread will be closed and a "[General] Bitcoin Wallets - Part n+1" will be created, which will contain an updated list of good information. This process will constantly be repeated. The reason that this approach was chosen is to prevent long threads in which people don't find what they are looking for and to provide the most up-to-date information.

....

Many users don't have enough knowledge about bitcoin wallets so she made a thread explaining how it works which is very contributing to the forum. So posting tutorials on this and that is a quality post but before posting, make sure that no one made that kind of topic to avoid redundant thread.
