Isn't there anything the mods can do to stop it?
Well, there are too many sites and topics to be stopped, just look at the Investors-Based Games thread, 99% of them are scam. We should learn to recognize for ourselves what is most likely to be scam instead, especially more and more 'scamsites' are on the rise now.

For the case of faucets, I would rather use those that payout instantly to micropayment platforms like FaucetHub, just stay away if you are not sure it is paying, especially if they have those high payout threshold.
I don't have to write this again but I second you. One can only benefit from faucets sites that pay instantly or with low minimum payout threshold not more than 30K SAT. All others MAYBE scam sites so let's be cautious of that.
I'll advice others to use sites that pay to faucethub and xapo  as at now(micro payments)  and direct payments with minimum payouts not more than 30Ksat.

This 3 pages have the same owner. You receive 10k satoshi, 10k litroshi, 1000 doge when you reache the minium (about 5 days with 2 claims every day). Today i reached the minimum in 2/3 and when i registered was about my email. The owner wrote in the post that you will put your wallet when you will be withdrawn but i couldt do it. The page crashed out and the error was my email wasnt a wallet :O!

Unless you have evidence of a unhonored payout or something similar dont bother coming here. If a thread is self moderated and you feel your questions are removed unjustly, open a new thread in the same section. Moderators do not get involved in (potential) scams.

Rocketbitco.in a site that says to offer passive 20K satoshis a day is obviously scam.

The user https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/giwrg0s1-900845 is advertising it with a self-moderated thread in the micro earnings section https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/rocketbitcoin-claim-your-earnings-any-time-1977632
