110V and you can plug into the wall outlet

Hello!  Today I received a new Rockminer R-Box, but I don't have a power supply for it.  Instead of spending another 10 dollars and ordering yet another power supply, I did manage to find something that may or may not work.  I know this might be a silly question, but I don't know a whole lot about power supplies and such, but here it goes: The Rockminer requires 4 amp, 12 volt, 45 watt power supply.  I managed to find a 16 volt 4 amp power supply.  Would this just break the device or would it work?  Thanks!

yeah that is specced to work just fine.

72 watts  or 12 volts x 6 amp = 72 watts. 2.5 mm by 5.5mm

death to your device.

think of amps as gallons  .   so big amps means big supply to draw from.

so a brick/lake with lots of amps never runs out of juice/water

thinks of volts as gallons per minute.  or water pressure in the hose so to speak.

hi volts will over whelm your device  burn it up  fry it.

next advice the r-box requires a 12volt 5 amp device for 24/7/365

12 volts x 5 amp = 60 watts

    times 75 percent = 45 watts.

what is 75%  your safety number for 24/7/365 run time.
