It was reported that the two factions didn't came up with an agreement regarding the scheduled fork so there's no consensus. Then CW threaten to have his own fork coin Bitcoin Satoshi's Vision (BSV) against Bitcoin Cash (BCH-ABC) with Ver/Wu at the helm. But if you're just going to look closer, its probably those names wanted to  take control of everything and no one is giving out an inch. So Craig Wright decided to fight fire with fire so in preparation of the scheduled BCH fork he probably dumped his Bitcoin in preparation for a "big hashing war" between the two altcoins. He needed funding for his company nChain and allies against Bitmain and other big mining pools supporting BCH. So let's see how it goes.  Grin

they are simply doubling the number of coins they have. they did this once last year and it was very good for them as they made a lot of money in a blinking of an eye! it is literary creating money from thin air as they create a fork coin. and now the same thing is being repeated. it seems to me more like a publicity stunt to make a lot of noise and get the coins pumped otherwise there is no reason for either of them to exist, let alone have 32 MB and 128 MB blocks!

i don't think that i can help you, but i want to say one thing: i really don't like how roger ver on twitter keep telling that btc sucks. Imho is not a good way to expose his ideas..
Guess what coin he'll be going back to when he thinks there is no other option left.... Right, he'll go back to the coin he has been trashing for over a year because it's the only one being able to withstand this hashrate war.

No other coin has a similar network effect as Bitcoin, and he knows that. He said that he would remove Bitcoin from his main wallet, but still hasn't done so and I believe he won't even dare to do it.

OP: I think the main problem is that CSW is out to be the sole ruler of his own version of bitchcoin (no typo). I strongly believe that he would fork off anyway and used the momentum right now to do it instead of later on.

People come here to get rid of their government, and they are yet again witnessing the same power play against them. It sucks.

Always remember the cause!
For some reasons I couldn't manage to do enough research on Faketoshi vs Ver debate and it would be really appreciated if somebody could brief me about their theoretical divergence.

I'm already aware of parts of Wright's agenda to make (or at least keep) bcash more government friendly and persuade his victims to give him their money without hesitation. What I don't exactly know is Ver's agenda.

Personally, I don't recognize bcash as bitcoin and definitively not the idea of increasing block size as a serious scaling solution, but I believe there is always something to learn from debates in crypto ecosystem generally as it is possible to experience same situations in bitcoin.

P.S
I also have been notified that Gregory Maxwell has somehow intervened in this debate I was just curious: what's going on?
