Can you guys stop posting in a thread that was started by a newbie  1.5 year ago and whose "last online" was more than 6 month ago.

That rolex is long sold a pawn shop if legit or back to a drawer if fake.

Every rolex watch has a serial number registered to the original owner, you can try checking it out I think to their records. This is the way to know if the watch is truly original. A buyer should have the right to know who originally owns it. You should demand for its paper first before finalizing a transaction like this one.

If OP doesn't have the papers then its going to be a very sketchy sale.

........I decided to take a chance and buy from noob factory watches. I had never bought anything from them before, so it was a surprise for me. In the end, this surprise exceeded all my expectations.

Nice shill. Unwelcome.

It may have been the original Rolex, but we'll never know ...
If this is the case, why is he willing to sell the watch for just 3k?

How much are you looking for this? And do you have the authentic papers with it?

No I don't have any paperwork, I can record me going to a jeweler while they fully inspect it. It's damaged though the clasp doesn't shut (somebody tried to rob me but failed).

Far as price honestly I only was looking for around $3k.

Go to a pawn shop that will offer you $3k

To be considered a serious seller you would have to take better photos of the watch, steady , no blurry, macro if possible, day light.....
go to a jewlery and ask them to remove the bracelet, you will find the serial number at 6 o’clock and the reference number at 12 o’clock.

If you can get photos of those numbers, maybe as well they can open the back and do a photo of the movement.

Then you can list it on chrono 24 (you will have a larger audience than here) and you can easily sell it for $9k for a quick sell.

Maybe in the 11 to 12k $ range.... but it is all depending on the quality of photos, conditions of the watch / movement

You are trying to sell a luxurious item, advertise it like one.

Cheers

Sexy watch...
The clasp doesnt mean much, easily replaced for cheap.
That stuck date kinda sucks.

No paperwork sucks more.

Do you have any serial #s?
Has the back been opened?

Idk. At $3k id be personally interested. But its a tough buy without papers..

Rolex Oyster Perpetual
Date: I honestly don't know when it was made could be old because it have the hologram sticker on it with being able to see the crown

It is a day date, your photos are crap.
I am a little of a Rolex nerd.

Regarding price, look at those two for comparaison

https://www.chrono24.co.nz/rolex/day-date-36-18k-900ct-single-quicksetgenuine-diamonds--id11703411.htm

https://www.chrono24.co.nz/rolex/36mm-day-date-red-roman-numerals--id11696445.htm

I would say that your is in the 10 to 12k USD

It looks like the "day" is stuck in between, maybe because someone used the crown to change the day during the "death hours"

You're a absolute live-savior. Could you teach me more? My uncle is giving me his for my car. I will need more information.
