What about making it out of Romania(EU) and through the transfer countries? Just because you can own a gatling gun for sports, doesnt mean the rest of the worlds law enforcement officers think alike.

I think everyone is getting confused. The AK is not coming from Romania, it was originally made in Romania. Like the ones made in former Yugoslavia, Romanian AKs have a good reputation. It is a bit like how BMW buyers want the ones made in Germany. I'm guessing that is why the OP mentioned it's country of manufacture.

Yeah, i read the op when it was not as clear its already in the US.

Its sold!

Hilarious video...

Nice weapon...7.62x39 is totally solid.
For all you "Foreigners"....It is completely legal to buy and sell assault weapons in the USA.
Since Sandyhook it got a little more complicated in the land 'o' the free. Each state has it's own laws regarding assault weapons so make sure you know the them before a purchase.

Good luck with the sale, I am not in the market since I already have four. Smiley

this rifle is no an "assault" weapon. "assault" weapons have a burst or full auto selection

Why would the rifle need to "make it out of Romania" the firearm is currently in the USA. IF your local police authorities agree playing Soccer with a Gatling gun is against the law then I'd recommend you not buy one. However for those who do live in America are legally allowed to buy, sell and transfer this gun depending on individual state laws.

It's a simple solution the OP should specify this sale is for USA only.

The OP specifying the sale is restricted to USA is a good solution; however, IMHO people should read posts before hitting reply since Maidak said he is from Ohio (an US State) and will send the item only to FFLs (an US establishment). Also foreign trades of small arms are regulated by international laws as well as defence regulations across the world so it almost impossible for a guy to legally sell/buy it from internet forums and have it at his home on the far side of the world. As an example, here in Italy such an assault rifle is categorized as "Arma da Guerra" and its use & ownership is reserved only to Armed Forces and police forces; also, in Italy mail-order shopping (or on-line shopping) of small arms (pistols, shotguns, rifles) are illegal and the district chief (Questore) of the State Police must know & authorize all transfers of arms. I'm sure scores of foreign countries have various regulation in place and if someone is willing to buy small arms for himself he must be knowledgeable of the applicable law.

I bet you this will be stopped somewhere along the way. No way you can ship weapons from a country to another.

I think not only the seller but a few other members have made it quite clear.. If your not in the USA your probably not buying this rifle.

This is your standard WASR 10/63 Romanian build. They can be of decent quality, but have had some mag. issues. If you don't have any other serious offers, I'll send $350 your way in BTC. Picked one up for that price a while back as a project that yielded some decent profit  Tongue. GL w/ sale.

Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Wow, nice piece of work. But... is selling firearm ok in this forum?

Totally fine to sell on the forums and I'm sure this one will sell no problems.

Best of luck on your sale!!

FFL to FFL always
You don't need an FFL to mail long guns, only to receive them. Anyone can mail long guns via UPS or USPS.

You don't need to escrow either, but it is always advised Tongue!

I would always advise using a FFL here if you want to be 1000% sure you are all good.

Selling/buying/possessing guns is a American rights... I don't know why others would think the forums are at risk.

I know that a few other forums that don't support this American right and I  no  longer use them! (crypto crypt)

Does really BTCtalk aprove this? Sell illegal weapons?

As far as I can recall, forum policy prohibits selling items that are illegal in the majority of countries...namely narcotics.
Promoting other products or services seem to be fair game, whether it be weapons or Ponzi Schemes (as a heated debated detailed many months ago).

There used to be a post with this sort of information in it somewhere on the forum.

Regarding the rifle, it may be illegal to own in (or ship to) other countries, but here in the States it's perfectly fine.

It's not shipped from Romania, and merely advertising online is not illegal in the US.

depending on what state you're in, selling a rifle private to private is not illegal in the US as well

Allow me to help out. It's a Romanian AK47 WASR-10. Standard features are threaded barrel, slant muzzle brake, bayonet lug, and a siderail (although you can't see the other side of the rifle to verify the siderail). The WASR-10 is an AKM style rifle, and would have been imported as a parts kit by Century Arms International and assembled here in the US to be complaint with federal laws. Build date (or rebuild date depending on how you look at it) would have been post 1996 (after the Wassenaar Arrangement that these are named after). The attached magazine seems to be a steel Bulgarian mag, and the one not attached is a standard Tapco polymer mag. The bayonet is not the one that would have been issued with the rifle.

This would have to be shipped to an FFL near the purchaser, and the purchaser would have to pass a NICS background check to claim the item at their FFL ($20-35 FFL fee).

thanks for the nice detailed clarification. Interested in any firearms for bitcoin I have over 400 guns right now and trying to cut it in half.

400 Guns! Do you run a gun store or something. Can't believe keeping weapons is not a serious thing in America.

They're serious about it. Have you heard about Gun politics in the United StatesWink

Interesting, can't say I've seen very many firearm sales on the forum Cheesy

Few questions on this one:
Do you happen to know when the AK was manufactured? I presume it's semi-auto, unless your friend snagged one made before the 1986 FOPA.
Judging by your description I imagine it's still in great condition? No dings, bends, or bludges when looking down the sight?
Any chips or dings at the end of the muzzle?
Any cracks or splits in the stock?
Does it cycle smoothly?
Any info on when it was last cleaned?
What's it chambered at?

I know we're talking an AK here, so we know it can work in just about any condition, but I figured it's better to be thorough!

You should post a few more pictures by the way. Smiley

7.62 nato rounds of course. After I fired 5 rounds through it I cleaned the gun out. Someone who owned it prior to me looked as if he put a finish on the wood. That has sense been sanded off the gun is semi auto and in excellent condition. The only reason I'm not keeping it is the caliber is just to much for me to shoot comfortably in my back yard. As for the time it was manufactured I could not say for certain.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pu%C8%99c%C4%83_Automat%C4%83_model_1986 heres what you'll want to look at.

I've had it for about 3 months a friend was in a situtation where he needed a down payment for a new bike so he offered to sell me his AK-47 only 10 rounds or so have gone through it. Pretty well built gun but I'm becoming a hoarder of firearms and need to diminish the collection a bit. Would handle the sale by the books everything included. Looking for $600 in bitcoin
