Why did the delegates just take it ?

Why didnt every Ron Paul delegate that got unlawfully hosed walk up to the podium and be heard, or at least walk up and stand on the stage in silent opposition and/or demand a written vote or something ?

At the VERY LEAST the RNC would have been forced to address the issues or have every Ron paul delegate cuffed and physcially removed from the stage on national TV, creating a PR nightmare.

It appears to me that this is exactly what the second amendment was created for.

An out of control government acting outside of the law that needs to be controlled.

... and you think you're free.

Angry

Thanks for posting!  Big props to hero delegates who stand up and refuse to play when they see corruption.

And yes I am free, to report on and run elections with as much accountability as I like.
And you are free to pay no attention to the results.

OFFICIAL HASHMAN RNC ELECTION RESULTS:

Hashman:   75 delegates
Ron Paul:    512 delegates
Mitt Romney:  124 delegates
Chef Ra:     513 delegates
Myrkul:     150 delegates
Bruce Schneier:  2^160 delegates
Pirateat40:    7 delegates
etotheipi:      -1 delegates (+- 2 pi n i delegates)

*This election was audited and certified by Intersango.

On a more serious note, I offer a token reward coin to anybody who can set up a verifialble block chain voting site along these lines:

1 coin = 1 vote (or 10^8 votes if you prefer)
votes are submitted as signed text (proving coin ownership) with message including candidate name in agreed format
votes publicly verifiable (visible on a website from a text database)

One somewhat tricky part is making sure there is no "double voting" which will require some basic "taint analysis" to make sure new votes arriving  do not represent outputs of previously voted coins.  Other than that, I would imagine this to be a week long project for someone who has set up online wallets or block chain explorers.

more like there's no point in voting, Obama is as bad as Romney
In my eyes, just a bit better.

Meh. It's like comparing anal rape to vaginal rape.

Still rape.

Hmm one more reason for me to vote for Obama. If I ever get to register myself.
