From Ron Paul's perspective I can't fault what he's saying about Bitcoin, and he's spot on with the rest of the issues he outlines with the Fed and fiat currencies in general.

Yup. One can only hope others who are non-believers shift towards his position then slowly over to ours. I really think a lot of this has been happening over the past 12 months.

Actually I dont even think their conversation would have even been relevant 12 months ago. Ya know?

I wish Ron Paul would actually try to understand Bitcoin a bit more so he can invest or get behind it. He seems very sceptical because I don't think he fully comprehends it.

Nearly every single interview I've seen him in is with some dumb female reporter whose every reply is an obvious strawman. He's used to it though, and knows exactly how to respond.

Her strawman in this case was (pp) "You think Bitcoin is better than the dollar?" when his actual argument was (pp) "I support competition in regards to forms of money, and bitcoin is an example of this competition, therefore, I support it."
But see how there is a big difference between what he said, and "better than the dollar?" Too bad most people have absolutely 0 critical thinking ability.

True. I am just glad the conversation is being had at all. Its alot of smoke and mirrors in this interview. Theyre basically trying to give him questions which could make him say something to their favor. Like you said though. He is use to it.
