Congratulations to all the winners. Thank you Hhampuz for another competition from the wonderful Roobet Team. It can definitely be argued that during the year of my presence at the competition, the level of all artists and crafters has grown very much. A real art battle! I patiently hope for the announcement of the next contest as soon as possible.

If you stay consistent I'm sure there will be more new winners. I myself only maintain the quality of my work and think of concepts that are out of the box.
This time the winners are more distributed, not surprising because the contest gets tougher as everyone are improved.I've thought to draw using Lunar New Year theme, but I cancel it because I think it's has less correlation with New Year in general. But I was wrong, most of the winners are using LNY themes lol.
I want to give credit to Darkelf11, really loves with the detail.
However thank you Roobet's team and Hhampuz, congratulations for all the winners and keep trying everyone~

Finally the announcement came out.
I already thought Hhampuz would have a hard time judging because all the works were good. Each work has its own characteristics. Improve and make the work as unique as possible because there will be more contests as Hhampuz said.
Some people seem to give up, but new ones emerge.
If you stay consistent I'm sure there will be more new winners. I myself only maintain the quality of my work and think of concepts that are out of the box.

You see it low submission rate, but trust me it's not. I've been joining Roobet contests for almost a year now and every time the contest is about to meet the deadline, you can see a bunch of submissions. There's more than 12 hours to submit our entries. I don't think the deadline should be extended since it was posted less than a month ago. Seeing a low submission rate for the art contest, would it be possible to extend this contest for a week? TIA

Happy New Year 2024 Roobet, this has been a wonderful art contest.
The theme this time is about "New Year" and I made a carving artwork with a new year concept that is quite different, and I have never made before.
It has a circle diameter of 35cm with New Year Roobet carvings and several other ornaments.
Using additional ornaments, flower carvings surround the artwork and there are flower carvings in front of the typical Indonesian Nusantara.
Not only presenting the concept of the new year, but also giving a touch of traditional art to the area where I live.
Wrapped with paint finishing only for the detail part of the text and Mr. Roo and also using Varnish to make it look more shiny.
