Honestly I'm not familiar with painting, let alone painting and the painting I show below is the first painting that my 7 year old son did, about Mr. Roo and Mrs. Roo on the Roobet website.
My son often sees mr.roo's pictures when i go to roobet site, so he is interested in painting about valentine.

Back to my hand drawing: I chose to combine both subjects, in an expressive simple work,1stThe Snowball is a full winter vibe, 2nd the Nutcracker made to resemble a toy soldier and in German tradition, it's a symbol of good luck ,3rd what's more beautiful than making as a sad character as lady grinch fall in love with our hot soldier
Finally and the the best for the last , I focused to put our magical Roobet Christmas treestar touch and complete the masterpiece
