The only update I have is that he's moved the coins from the original wallet.

At this point, judging by the activity for said user as well as the social accounts tied to him (Facebook and Flickr), it looks like his last actual activity was a while back. So my guess is that his stuff got hacked and someone decided to use pre-existing account to run a scam and is giggling like a foolish ham with some of our cash. Lesson learned. :/
I dunno if I would go that far. there was one guy in the thread - Zig who was supposed to meet him at his house and pick up units... see if Zig has anything to say.
what I can tell you is this: I ordered 20 units from Zoomhash.com a few weeks and they were out but had my 20 units shipped directly from China and they arrived in 5 days.

So has anyone who ordered from batch 1 received their Gridseed miners yet? According to his post for the Antminer S2, he had batch 1 in stock back on March 7th.
I have already ordered 500 Antminer U2 miners from Bitmain Tech. They informed me that these probably will ship ahead of schedule, which is March 17th. All my orders from Bitmain always come within a day or two tops, so I should start shipping by the 19th or 20th of March 2014! Any questions feel free to ask, I have some Gridseed Miners (5-Chip) for sale as well, I just haven't started a thread yet but I will get on it. Gridseed Miners are in stock already.

Has anyone else noticed a difference between gold & red miners?
I can now say there is absolutely no difference other then color between red and gold. I have both, both have the small white button, same shape, same ports and windows is seeing both as STM32 virtual driver. I get simillar hashing out of each type as well.Yeah I concur with this statement I haven't noticed any difference besides the color either. Some people swear they are different though..

I just sold out my first round of miners, however my next shipment is coming in Monday March 15th, so I can ship either Monday afternoon or Tuesday (March 16th) in the morning - depending on what time the package arrives. I already got confirmation that they were shipped from China so I may even get them earlier. I just lowered the prices significantly because I got a lower price for buying a larger order and I will pass the savings on to you guys.

I dont think there is a difference that i have noticed, I think some chips may be faster than others and that happens sometimes if they don't sort them after production.

Nothing is different except how a PC see's them. When I plug a red in my PC sees ST32 virtual driver, with your gold a pc should see CP2102 USB to Uart, with my reds its much harder to get them to dual mine on a pc, i have yet to succeed, either sha256 or scrypt but not both March 11, 2014, 06:05:34 AM
I have a couple reds and at 850 i get about 365, at 900 same with a few hw errors above 900 no better, so I do not see where you are getting 400 from, but over all your prices are not that bad averaging 240USD per at current btc value, but it is not quite the lowest in the group buy forum
