I'm not being funny, but the KnC customer support work their asses off, literally. The fact the support is labelled as poor is total BS. It's always the negative peeps that are vocal, those content hardly ever speak up. They are ridiculously patient as some of the customers are total fruitcakes, you've seen this on this forum, furthermore if they have not become too emotionally involved by biting off more than they can bare financially (which is stupid), some of those seen vocally complaining here are not real customers and cannot provide real order numbers to match with what the order supposedly was, and the general location. That's not to say there haven't been a few mix ups, or accidents, sure, they're human and are working 10 hour+ days. The Cust serv work well outside of the normal hours to clear the backlog of emails, and do respond to everything that is not abuse.

This was a product that was delivered ridiculously quickly, the fastest 28nm device created in any industry, ever, so their customers could be hashing asap. KnC delivered, but the standard 12-18 months of post fab refinement and product testing has had to take place in the wild or people would have had to wait. The Cust serv have had to learn the products and the products issues simulateous to the customers, as a little over a month ago the products, and any associated faults, did not exist, so please cut them some slack, it's been a learning process for them, as much as you. No on else has a dedicated customer support, and almost all the other companies are happy to talk people out of your funds, but how many that have/are delivering help you after or have delivered as competently? And I promise you, I have yet to see anyone email them and say thanks for helping them.

So KnC is the industry leader now.  Cheesy

KnC and Bitfury are virtually tied. Although neither is taking orders right now.
So we need another one.

Rimbit - No mining, just development
What about bitfury?  And blackarrow actually has shipped actual hardware (their bitfury based line of miners).  Bitmine to me seems like the most likely to deliver (they have before)...  If you are including BFL (i honestly can't imagine anyone serious about mining including them in any good top 5 list) then why not Avalon (who seem to have truly gotten their act together).

And you are missing the company that actually produced the first commercially available asic based miner - Asic Miner.

Who put this list together?  Is it just based on whether or not the company sent you a press release?  Seems like it wasn't researched....

From the site
There are other companies that should be here, but when they do not reply to email, dont have a product in development, then we will simply not include them.
We have given each and every company the same request for information and followed that up with a second email, just in case there was "a problem" with their email servers and emails went missing. Those emails went out not as Mentaso, but as a customer, so we could conduct the results unbiased.

KnC miner tops the charts  Wink

Number 1:
KNCMiner
KNCMiner is still the best decision when it comes to mining hardware. There are still some issues with the miners, hashing at lower speeds, sometimes as much as 90% slower. A firmware upgrade was issued, which fixed some miners, improved others and had no real effect for those unlucky few. We have news that the November 2013 batch will have different PCB configurations, to fix some of the issues with the earlier miners. Unfortunately, these fixes are not backwards compatible, so there are no upgrades to older Saturn using the newer boards. We believe that right now, they are the best on the market, bar none!

Nice site, but it should be a bit more user friendly, separate accounts for the main site & forum is a quite bad thing.
These days people use few seconds things like registration and if it fails or seems to be too complicated, the site is gone...

I can only concur on this matter.
We need a new company to compete with KnC.

This was expected, KnC is a good company compared to what we previously had in the ASIC department.
