Try this...

set your router back it its original 192.168.10.1

Edit your the WAN of one of your Ants to

Thanks.... that didn't work for me, but it did put me on the right track. Seems MY ants won't run on anything but a x.x.1.x address, no mater what you tell them or the router. Might be something in the firmware of my particular ones. I got them used off ebay.

BUT.... if I set the router to x.x.1.1, and then specify the static address as you said.... presto, they work.
I think part of my problem was that I was changing the LAN settings, but not the WAN settings. As soon as I figured that out it became much easyer.

Gottem all up now... Thanks for the help!

Is anyone running a router that is NOT set to 192.168.1.1?

I have a Trendnet router that is factory set to 192.168.10.1, and I can't get it to see my 4 ants.
I can and have reset the routers IP to 192.168.1.1, and the ants will fir up, but when I log into the router, the ants do not show up. Not on the main page which lists evey IP running, nor in the router table.

I'm very new to router maniplication, so have very little idea as to what is going on with it.

Or you can try it the easy way.

Don't touch your router at all. Go and edit your network card and set it to:

192.168.1.10
255.255.255.0
192.168.1.1

192.168.1.1

Save

Pull up the new ant on 192.168.1.99 in a browser.

Set the ant to DHCP and save it.

Reset your network card to auto.

If you need to find the new IP address of the ant the easy way download this software its safe and free to use.

Most of us use it to setup the ants. Plus you can save the ant to favorites.

Hope this helps.

Instead of changing your router settings, you can use an Ethernet crossover cable, plus a computer or laptop directly connected into the antminer, set an IP on the Ethernet port on the PC to one near the ant, then be able to program it to an IP on your network.

I run my network on a 172.x.x.x range because way too many people use 192.x.x.x or 10.x.x.x.
A few minutes with a crossover cable, set the right settings, and it matches your network.

Try this...

set your router back it its original 192.168.10.1

Edit your the WAN of one of your Ants to

Protocol:  Static Address
IP4: 192.168.10.250
IPv4 netmask : 255.255.255.0
IPv4 Gateway 192.168.10.1
IPv4 Broadcast: blank
Custom DNS servers: 8.8.8.8

Save and apply.  Your computer will appear stuck while saving. After about 30 seconds, disconnect your  Antminer from your computer and connect the Ant to your router or ethernet switch.

Power cycle your Ant and wait about 2 minutes.  The Ant should start working at that point.

You can now access your Ant via a computer on your network by directing your browser to 192.168.10.250

Try .251  .252, .253 etc for other Ants.
