im running it no issues yet . active antivirus as well . so far nothing found . has anyone got a .5 btc payout
No issue when you first run it but on the third and fourth run it will automatically update and download files with all the malwares and virus on it,better safe than sorry if it good to be true it's dangerous..
My antivirus ( Kaspersky ) did not like this virus :

DO NOT INSTALL ROYALMINER!!! ITS VIRUS, NOT IN FIRST BUT IT TRY INSTALL MAILWARE/VIRUS AFTER COUPLE HOURS. IT DID SO ON MY COMPUTER BUT MY VIRUS CHECKER DID GET IT KILLED.

It is now very risky to download stuffs online,because they can come up clean but once you run it they will update it self then that will be the time that they are going to download the malwares and virus that can infect your machine always be vigilant that software is to good to be true ..
Read the other thread. It downloads another version and it sets up a scheduled task so that it runs every boot. It can download the virus at any time.
Besides, you should really not trust virustotal or any other scanners. The malicious payload can be encrypted so it won't show up.
Anyway, run everything in a restricted sandbox or virtual machine or on a rig with a throwaway OS. Otherwise you will get hacked eventually.
