Is it even worth to CPU mine directly from wallet? I don't have an opportunity to run GPU mining as it is reserved.

considering the difficulty is there really any reason to be mining this with CPU at all now? It looks to me like you should be mining this with GPUs now.

Yes we are at the GPU point from the looks of things.. to go a guide on GPU it just very long bc so many different things.. different miners.. for different GPUs.. on different platforms..

here is a good guide.. its for Monero but it works for Royalties as well
https://www.cryptocompare.com/mining/guides/how-to-mine-monero/
It depends on the CPU, Ryzen and xeon's can find blocks on their own and keep up with modern GPU's.
In fact Solo mining with my Ryzen 5 1600 was more profitable then on the pool.

The miner built into the sucks and you should implement the xmr-stak-cpu miner.

I would like to know what I need to put in the conf file for the wallet so I can solo mine with both my GPU and CPU?

Good guide.

This coide where listed on exchange?

XRY/DOGE

how bout you remove your duplicate thread man, absolutely no reason for 2 threads that are the SAME

well one is for solo and the other is for pool mining.. at this point its too hard to solo CPU mined bc of the pool and GPUs.. however nothing says this will continue on like this.. they are guides and they both serve a purpose

The only thing that I could figure is that I'm somehow on a fork all by myself. And that the difficulty is trying to settle in somewhere based on the stats that the computers right back at it and if I'd left it for longer it would probably end up settling in.

hmm, can you share .conf file for mining Roaylties with AMD gpus.
I tried wolf's v0.4 but this is all I get.

Quote
...\wolf 0.4>miner xmr.conf
[17:27:03] Setting up GPU(s).

I've tried looking around websites and it looks like the difficulty that I'm getting there is completely different than the difficulty reflected elsewhere. When I saw that the first time I basically gave up on the coin it did something else, but then when I reset my computer for another reason I decided that was a good chance to try it again and I get the exact same thing. It was literally going from like 3.0 to 50,000 to 1.0 - 75000.

What websites? what do you mean elsewhere? Im just not sure what this means..

Those are the exact numbers but the ranges are representative of what I was seeing. I think took the exact same software to another computer at someone else's house, I got pretty much the same thing.

I've tried this three different times, on 3 different boxes, and I get the exact same strange output. I'm not using the right term, but I want to make it clear that this doesn't appear to be an error, and it's not being spit out by the mining, but if I go in there and I look at the mining information what I see is it shoot very high on one block very low on the next block very light high on the next block.

Please give me more info on this.. where are you seeing this information.. what is high and low.. and have you tried an stand alone miner like Wolf CPUminer
