How can people be so stupid to assume a currency note can have gps chip.What stupid purpose will it serve?

I believe you have got wrong information. Its infact decreasing the black market and is very effective in stopping the black market. The rumour that 2000 note has got gps has spread widely and is not true.

thats the speciality .and i dont see any growth of using rs 2000 notes .but it is increasing the black market as a very fast pace .
Well i think the government should have introduced new 1000rs notes rather than 2000rs notes.

Color doe snot have to do anything. Pink color is not used here in currency to show any women affection or power. Its just a color which is used for the resemble of the notes like any other denomination have color.

I never thought people would come up with rubbish claims regarding the color of the currency . It is a complete waste as getting a change for rupees 2000 is a hurdle and it is really hard to get a change unless you purchase something you really do not need in the first place. If the government start implementing things without thinking then expect these kind of problems arising.

Whenever there is a state of panic amongst the masses at large, these types of ridiculous rumours are often spread by rumour mongers. Better to just laugh it off.

I guess you have some wrong information about the new 2000rs notes which are in rotation. However, with the introduction of 2000rs notes it has been made more easy for for politicians & rich people to have more of black money. Let me Simply take a Scenario to understand the funda !

Scenario A : If as per your suggestion , Rs. 2000 Note are not issued but only New Rs. 1000 Notes are issued.
Lets say , for example Mr. X has Rs. 1,00,000/- black money in 100 Old Notes of Rs. 1000 each.
Mr. X divides those Rs. 1,00,000/- into 10 Equal Bundles, each comprising of 10 Old Notes of Rs. 1000 each and puts each Stack on a Table.

On Day 1 , in the morning Mr. X would deposit the first Bundle i.e. 10 Old Notes of Rs. 1000 valued at Rs. 10,000 into the bank and on same Day 1 in the Evening he would withdraw 10 New Notes of Rs. 1000 again valued at Rs. 10,000 and put it in the Locker in his house.
Now the real Game starts.

On Day 2 : Morning , Mr. X would deposit the second bundle of 10 Old Notes of Rs. 1000 valued at Rs. 10,000 kept on the Table. However in his books of accounts submitted to Income Tax Department, he will show that he has deposited the same 10 New Notes which was withdrawn on Day 1 : Evening ( which is actually still lying in the Locker of House )
On Day 2 : Evening , Mr. X would again withdraw 10 New Notes of Rs. 1000 valued at Rs. 10,000/- and keep the same in Locker . So at the end of Day 2, Mr. X has Rs. 80,000 on Table in Old Notes and Rs. 20,000/- in New Notes in Locker.
Now Day 3 will come in next weekaslimit of Rs. 20000 per week

The same exercise shall continue till Day 10 and by the end of Day 10, Mr. X shall have no Old Notes and Rs. 1,00,000 in 100 New 1000 Rupee Note in the Locker.
However, to the Income Tax Department, Mr. X has shown that he was having only Rs. 10,000/- as black money initially ( i.e. one bundle of 10 Notes of Rs. 1000 ) and he has rotated the same Rs. 10,000/- by depositing it into Bank account in the morning and withdrawing it in the evening and again redepositing the same on next day and so on.

Thus, Mr. X has paid tax only on initial Rs. 10,000 whereas he has managed to convert all his Black money of Rs. 1,00,000 into new Notes.
This Modus operandi is called Peak theory i.e. theory of rotation of same money which is accepted by most of the High Courts and Tribunals. Revenue is also helpless to catch Mr. X because the above scenario can also occur in genuine cases where you withdraw money from bank to purchase something and then when you think that no good deal is available, you may again deposit the same money into your bank account and are not required to pay tax again.

What you shared is true and their is no GPS or any other chip installed in it, it was just a rumor spread by some unwanted persons. Even their is rumor that if you download a software in your mobile and scan the note then you can see the PM speech which is also a prank and nothing more.

This is just a rumor and various news channel have clarified this that its total rumor and they have tested the note and verified that there is no GPS inside any note. So kindly verify the facts.

dont be fool by listing fake nes .. Their is no gps inside note... think it Gps need electricity to send signal.... and its not possible to send signals without electricity

i dont think that rs 2000 is not worth at all .with rs 2000 coming into market , the black market would increase to a very fast level .and the price of commodities will also increase to a lot new level until and unless everything comes into order.

duded grow up .this pink wala note is not all supporting equality or women rather at all. well mr modi has implemented a lot of policy to implement equality through women empowerement but through pink wala note? i dont think so.kudoos

All of the FUDS regarding the newly minted notes are there because people behind the FUDS wanted unrest in the minds of the general public and they wanted to create panic and the opposition parites are making full use of this situation to create a good political mileage

Yes. Its is worth if.. for the first time in history we have a currency that is supporting women. I think its is currency of equality because.. girls are happy to have pink wala note.

That nano gs stuff is wrong. Even I had the same experience. But RBI has confirmed that no such tracking exists.

thanks a lot .i thought there would a gps tracking device and i would not be able to fold the note .and keeping so may  gps trackers in 2000 rs notes it would be very difficult to make production of them the price would have been more than it would be the estimated cost .kudoos

You got wrong information.This has spawned some crazy rumours, such as the idea that the Rs. 2000 note is tracking system.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Wednesday confirmed that RBI's new Rs. 2000 note has no GPS tracking chip.

well i got to hear from some whatsapp news that rs 2000 has  gps tracker ? well i dont think so that it has gps trackers .it think it would cost a lot to embed gps trackers into them..i just want to know the truth .thannks..
