News about Bitcoin in Russia, in Russian. Just wondering if that is on par with english RT's fascination with Bitcoin.

I used to like RT but after watching it for a while, you notice its just as biased as every other station - it just happens to be biased in an Alex Jones kind of way! Wink

Just use it on rotate between all the main TV news channels, and eventually, you will work out the truth is a mix of all of them! Smiley

Thats what I do aswell.

RT, Aljazeera, Cnn, BBC and others. Just than you really get the NEWS.

They were just speaking about bitcoin again, and ripple. This time, RT channel showed a green live icon. So maybe in 12 hours or so, it'll be up on youtube or RT, if I find it, I'll post it up.

The person that was speaking of bitcoin and then ripple I think was the producer for prime interest.

I went searching for this particular video and could not find it just yet.

I could not find it. The guys name that was speaking is Bob English. To bad cable company's do not label RT show episode numbers in the description, like family guy, simpsons ect. uh well.

RT = quasi-gov't-sponsored propaganda shop affiliated with Russian security services
Quite obviously.

But it shows that Russia, similarly to China also hates dollar and would like to get rid of it (FYI: China propagandist CCTV broadcasted 20+ minutes Bitcoin documentary).

This may escalate to a full-scale currency war some day, I'm just saying...

1. Chinese have much money.
2. Chinese are conservative, they like gold, silver, stock, houses, especially those grandpa and grandma, if you tell them about btc, I don't know how much time would be cost to have them digest this.
3. Those grandpa and grandma are eager to invest with their money.

There were several alternative-currency research groups filming segments there, I did one with Stanholtz associates.  RT was grabbing interviews with probably about 20 people, folks I saw were Deeg, myself, Andreas, Trace, and Peter.  There was another film crew there for a TV station, but I don't know who they were with.  There were at least three Bitcoin documentaries there, one by the guy who did Word Wars  (a scrabble documentary), one called the Rise or something, and another who I didn't get to talk with.  Coinlab had a freelancer there, nice lady, very prolific.  BTCJournal is a new operation that is going to be launching in the near future, they were camped in the press room the whole time with a hired film crew grabbing interviews with just about everybody they could think of.  I spoke with one of the founders, seemed like a really nice guy - I'm hoping to collaborate

legacy banking publication "Payment Solutions" flew in a senior reporter named Bailey, she joined us for lunch and was really educated on the topic.

It sounds like more of Max Keiser doing, since he was talking about bitcoins for a while now.

+1 I was about to mention this too.

Max Keiser was the one who gave light to it on 'The Keiser Report', and since then RT has been on Bitcoin's ass. That's a good thing Bitcoin needs all the press coverage it can get.

Can't wait for the RT Crosstalk segment on Bitcoin. Too bad Amir is going to be on it (too emotional), rather than someone like Trace Mayer.

ZOMG!  Last time I saw him on air, hearing that the solution to theft in the Bitcoin ecosystem was that kindly fellow users will send donations was utterly painful to watch.

Oh well.  At least the other two contributes, although not ostensibly bitcoiners, were pretty thoughtful and of net benefit to helping the casual viewers make informed decisions about Bitcoin.

The similar deal to Al Jazeera, France24, and the BBC.
