keksik, if you have the first version of the RTX 3060, then you need to do 2 things:
Install Nvidia Dev Driver 470.05 Beta
Install the video card in the 16x port or use the X16 riser.

https://www.reddit.com/r/gpumining/comments/m5so68/nvidia_driver_47005_download_link/
I think you will not have problems finding a driver, just download from trusted sources.

The full speed of the card is unlocked in the GPU settings, for example in Afterburner which is a program to fine tune GPU settings.Correct settings for the RTX 3060 non LHR to get full speed at 49 Mhsh at 115 watts are as below :

Core clock -200
Memory Clock +1400
Fan settings-Whichever works best for you I use 60-75%

are you using -lhr argument in bat file?
what driver u use? because i am using afterburner (PL 66, C0 M+1250) and 470.55driver and it wont work properly in my pc (with 2 cards only).

EDIT: tried 471.11, PL70 C 1550Mhz (+0) M 8700Mhz (+1400) nbminer 39.1 and without -lhr argument it get 26mhs with lhr 70 i get 33-35mhz. am i doing something wrong? i am having the first batch rtx 3060.
EDIT2: 2 of the cards in my pc, with 470.55 driver are working at 49mhs each with hdmi dummy

thank you

I have seen a lot of good offers for the RTX 3060 ti lately as little as 800 EUR new in box which for me is a good price.I have seen the normal hash rate of 31 Mhsh maximum.

My question is,can this card go up to at least 45-48 Mhsh with the unlocking that NBminer has done, does the unlock works in Windows or only in HiveOS.I am asking because I never have dealt with a LHR card but I am seriously thinking to expand my capacity in mining and this looks like a good option to me considering I got near this price the Gtx 1080 ti and used.

RTX 3070 Ti LHR: ~55 Mh/s  | RTX 3070 no LHR: ~65 Mh/s
RTX 3060 Ti LHR: ~40 Mh/s  | RTX 3060 no LHR: ~50 Mh/s

But know that electricity consumption will double
Use Windows if you prefer, just install the correct driver.

i have RTX 3060 (non LHR version) please can you help me how should i set up my bat file? i know the pool and worker staff, but what do i need to use to unlock it to full speed?
also what is the driver requirement? currently using 470.55 with 2 cards but want to move to my minig rig with 8rtx 3060 at full speed.

thank you

I was just running the numbers on the 1080ti today as I fall into the category of having free electricity. I can pick up a few used for around $400usd which does not seem to bad. I just worry about thier ability to keep running and then having almost no resale value next year. They will quickly find themselves useless when ETH goes PoS and all that hashrate moves to other coins
You will recoup this video card in 150 days, and you will not have any losses, because the electricity is free.
A lot of things depend on the state of the video card, but if it works for another year or more, this is a good profit.
1080ti is relevant for the mining of many modern coins.
I would definitely buy 1 farm if I were you.

If 40 Mhsh is the best what it can do I don't bother with it,will buy another Gtx 1080 ti or RTX 2070 Super as they do somewhat better than this.I thought this could reach 45 Mhsh at least and I see the power consumption is the same at 120 watt in many resources as it is still a RTX 3060 ti and not RTX 3070 ti which has greatly higher consumption.Even RTX 3080 LHR which looks like a good option it needs almost 400 watt for 80 Mhsh and I can buy 2 Rx 6800 Xt which will give 128 Mhsh and about 340 Watt power consumption.Nvidias LHR definitely not worthy for me.
Gtx1080ti consumes more electricity than the newer cards, do you have free electricity? Can you get the 1080ti for cheaper price? This will be the only reason for someone to buy such card in 2021 when we have better GPUs that consume less energy, even a Vega 56 is better

go for second hand rx580 8gb.it is 300-350 eur and it give you 32,7mh with 70-78w.
105-110w from the wall
Otherwise, we would get 97MH - 210 watts.

I don't have free electricity but cheap enough that the power consumption of a Gtx 1080 ti is not a problem for me.Yes now I can find them cheaper, both RTX 2070 and Gtx 1080 ti are costing at 500 EUR so most probably I will go with the Gtx 1080 ti if I don't find better options at 800-900 EUR max for a new generation card but I will wait a bit as I see a lot of people selling GPU-s right now in my local marketplace.
500EUR is almost 590$ and a rtx2070 will only give you 36MH per GPU, this isn't great because a rx580 will cost you 340$ at 32MH, this is the best and most affordable GPU for you since your electricity is very cheap
