Just imagine wetin this CBN people dey talk, weda Dem like am or not na dem be the cause of the scarcity of money, weda concern us politicians steal money hide or not, of what benefits is that to us wey be citizens, abi as Dem change naira notes, the Politicians go share the old notes give us(citizens)? The answer is No..
My question na be say why CBN no provide enough materials first before Dem start with the printing of the new notes?
Dem just make money scares everywhere like that, people just dey suffer to withdraw their own money, as I dey talk currently now for my area, people don dey reject the old currency already, and no be say we dey see the new ones,

Omoh nothing CBN want tell me oo,na Dem cause everything..

Rumor it no rumor, the situation of the country currently dey very much alarming, people dey go through lots right now. No money, oya to make transfer na wahala. You go go bank Dem go tell you say money no dey meanwhile na the last cash wey dey your hand you use try lock if you go get small cash. People are frustrated right now and the worst of it all na the way pos dey take dey charge for withdrawal, omo e really choke for naija o. CBN and federal government should live up to the expectations of the masses and stop all these useless  claims and counter claims whickes no sense. What the nation needs right now is very much bigger than the statement published.
I no send the rumour weda na true or na lie I no reasyam at all. My own concern be say make them live up to the expectations of Nigerians.

One thing wey dey sure be say we Nigerians sabi spread rumors, any ways, i be don hear this same claims from several people, even my neighbors for compound been dey argue on top the matter one time like that, me just dey indoor dey hear them as they dey rant, me no dey like to chuk mouth for wetin no concern me.
Na good thing say CBN don finally come out to address the matter sha, make this people better begin dey print more new note ooh, if not the, trouble go dey for this country ooh, even after election self.
Make God help us sha.
One of the major tool for the spread of fake news is social media, and 9ja people dey always quick to believe rumours past the truth, one of the ways I protect myself from all the fake new is to mind my business and stay off social media platforms as much as possible and if want to get any information I visit the right source.
-CBN and monetary policy wahala done turn another thing since this whole issue started, and to make matters worst some state governors are against this policy from CBN and they have even dragged the federal government and CBN to court for this matter and as things dey go, CBN no go shift ground for any thing even though there are aware of the many conspiracy theorists around the policy and there are working to sabotage the efforts of both the federal governments and CBN in achieving the cashless policy.

I don't think the Central back will be naive enough to I'm back on implementing a policy that they don't have enough man and. Material resources to accomplish and the main cause of the naira scarcity is not from lack of enough printing material because according to data realized before the first deadline on the old note swap of 31st of January.
-CBN make it clear in a memo where their stated that the central bank has given banks across the country enough new notes to offer a 100%/hitch-free currency swap process.
- But the bank on the other hand is a commercial business where there are several interest holders and the new notes were sold out to those big wings and politicians thereby emptying their volt and bringing public scarcity of the new commodity.
- so saboteurs are the ones working to undermine the efforts of the central bank of Nigeria in the ongoing currency-swapping program.
I agree wth evri evri way u don talk 4 here becus, me cef knw my nation nd I knw say, dis one no pass dere power nd na watin dey happen b dis. D only place way I ft blame d CBN be say, dem dey at d apex of all dis, na dem cari dis order banks 4 bodi, mak dem try dey check mate dem. D Same way dem tak monitor nd punish banks way bin dey run crypto related transactions, mak dem approach dis dispensing of naira wth d same proactiveness. Other Dan jst 2 dey talk, mak dem do somtin.

I sure say, dem way b CBN get data too on watin each bank get nd d notes dem don print within a decade 2 dey in circulation, 2geda with other estimates 2 prevent dis scarcity of notes. So, dem need check dere banks mak dem no deflect watin dem bin dey try archive. If dere idea follow say looted funds go remain 4 pple way thief am, den dere demeanors don cast am already nd waste naija funds on printing new notes.

With all this drama that the CBN and banks are displaying, let them not be surprised when Nigerians start keeping their money at their home than saving it at the bank. It's so pitiful that someone who has money in the bank finds it hard to have access to it. Even if he or she has to, he gats to stay in a long queue or pay an outrageous price for the use of POS to be able to withdraw his or her own money.

The introduction of a cashless policy by the CBN is a wholly good idea but It is so sad that we Nigerian are not prepared for this cashless policy.

For the record, indigenous Nigerians are now supposed to be aware of how some mere rumors end up becoming reality. What if it's no joke that those mentioned banks finally get shut down? By then, citizens who are customers of those banks will begin to run up and down to get their money out of that bank too. If you guys ask me my opinion on that, I will just advise customers that have accounts with those banks to take their money out of those banks and put it in another bank that is not on the list. It's good to play it safe and avoid taking medicine after death🤗

I am so confused about what is happening in the country presently, the new redesigned naira is nowhere to be seen, there is shortage of the old notes,to see cash na India film. Nigeria leaders are playing games with the citizens. Election is bringing out the beast in politicians and making them not to care about their followers, this has shown how selfish these leaders are because they only care about themselves. Just becos of election, them deprive us from full access to our money just to punish us,thinking say na strategy wey them go take win the election but God go choke them.

My man u don supposed know how the country dey run their matter na. This country na just one funny place and the new update be say major banks too don dey close due to the fear of attacks from customers on the scarcity of the new notes. I just pray make this whole issue of election come do pass make things fit straight small for the country abeg. Buhari and counterpart don terrorize enough and dem close their last days of ruling with anger nai make dem just wan frustrated we the masses.

The truth of the matter is out, that is to restore the value of Nigeria currency, but it looks some to me, because when the country have enough notes in circulation, we are owing a big debt,

How much more when there is scarsity of notes in the country, and secondly we still have scarsity of fuel at the same time, how do you think that we are going to cope with these situations?

Well only God will help us to survive in this country Nigeria.

There is an element of truth in this matter from all the source I have seen. Bcos Nigeria debt profile is very big and that is also one of the contributors of the national inflation in the country. And today in Yenagoa Bayelsa State, all the banks were closed. In Delta State today, some of di customers in UBA almost beat a branch manager nd she came out 4rom her office explain things to dem. As it is right now things are getting out hand. Wen CBN branches across di country get burn den things will be normalized again.

Like I said in one of my previous comments, we do not know who is playing who. Who do not know who is telling the truth and who is not. But what I know is that this whole thing is just one big political chess game and we the masses are all pawns in this game. I wouldn't be surprised if there are some international actors at the background. If Oga CBN had won the primaries for his party, would he have thought of a Naira redesign? Whatever the case may be make una nor allow the physical cash finish for una hand this period o.

Whether the c.b.n likes it or not,  the fact that the newly redesigned naira notes are scarce in the country is still as a result of them not printing enough new money in the country. Rumours are always bound to happen because of the chaos this new development on the new naira has caused. Nigerians are tired and frustrated over the scarcity of this recent trend,  you can't go to the bank and withdraw your own money in peace again because you will have to wait many a long hour just for the line to get your turn.

the changing of the naira note in Nigeria has caused so many financial and economical problems nation wide. The naira has lost real value in the exchange market against the dollar and other currencies over The years and the government are trying to do all their possible best to give it back its value. So the changing of the naira notes i feel was one the main reason for this as many wealthy Nigerians have stock pile loads of naira notes in their ware houses all in the name of greed and selfishness. So the cbn taught changing the naira and implement a new current cashless policy will help in the provisions of these naira notes that have been missing in terms of its circulations in the nation.
Now the new naira notes has been launch and deadline date for depositing of the old notes in the bank have been  given and also extended due to the scarcity of the new notes in the banks nation wide and this scarcity has lead to serious issues in the nation as many Nigerians now tend to the conclusion that the Apex bank in Nigeria central bank of Nigeria has been the real cause of these problems. The rumors has been strong about the apex bank and the printing agency responsible for money printingnigeria security printing and minting company plc didn't do their job very well and this also was a result of lack or shortage of printing material. There are so many rumors added with these ones as many Nigerians are tired and frustrated over the new policy that is causing serious problem in the nation financially.
So the rumors has finally caught the attention of the Apex bank and a report has been drop stating the clear reasons for this shortage of naira note in the country claiming the Apex bank has nothing to do with the current shortage of the new notes.

Note:: fiat currency is a hold and setback to you  that's why the decentralized system is way forward no one can actually control your funds #finacial freedom #btc
