Read it yesterday too. Still didn't understand what the Russians meant by this, they could send a mature dog, why did they offers a puppy?
Trained Russian dogs will only understand instructions being given in the Russian language. It will take years to train them, so that they could follow the French commands. That is why they sent the puppy instead of a fully grown dog. Anyway... IMO, the move was more of a symbolical and emotional one.
Do you even know what police dogs are trained for? It is not for 'war' but to keep peace, to find explosive materials and illegal substances.

If you want peace, don't produce more weapons. Don't vote for governments who want war. Most of your tax money goes to military expenditures, instead of good things.

One of the best comments ever. Short and smart. People really need to stop and think what are they doing, and where are we going. This path now is not good, and instead to live free probably we will see much more restrictions, much more represion, much more evil. And I don`t see the light in this tunnel.
Great idea - very kind gesture. It's this kind of "alliance" that will be very effective against the Islamic terrorists. I'd like to see the US stop worrying about Assad because nothing good ever comes of taking out a dictator and replacing quickly by "religious" nuts!
